Equilibrium however I assume was ignored because people saw the trailers and thought "meh... another film that wants to be the Matrix". Their loss really, the film poses excellent questions about the meaning of life in an efficient society of souless zombies where feeling is outlawed. And of course the gun kata is just cool.

Arrested Girl: You exist to continue your existence! What's the point?

Most likely it is Equilibrium at the moment, I think it didnt get the attention it deserved. People say its a copy of this and that movie, but if you're going to critizise every movie on that term you're striking almost every movie made out.
