About modules and the ideas I have for them... I would like it if CCP would change the picture of faction modules, deadspace mods, officer mods, and storyline modules. I see it like this and its happened to me on more than one occasion... I have dropped modules in my corps "Drop off" hangar so it can be sorted by a director/the ceo... I have dropped faction mods from people I've killed there as well. There is a can in the 'Directors' tab that only directors have access to(its the directors tab...duh). I went scouring through the directors tab looking for faction/complex/officer/storyline item(s), but couldn't find it/them..'why?' you ask? because some of the directors don't know the difference. I don't blame them, you honestly can't. Why should someone know something is faction compared to Tech 1? Most people don't think faction modules are worth the price tag, and that's fine. All I'm asking is that modules get labeled as what they are. T1 modules as well as their T1 counterparts(a.k.a.- named mods) have the same kind of marking as T2 items, except with an I, and a different color to tell them apart. Officer modules have an "O" on the top left corner and a different color around it than the rest of the colors, Deadspace modules have a "D", Storyline modules have an "S", and last but not least Faction modules use an "F". Now lets do that scenario again. Jim Bob(me) docks in a station where his corp has an office as well as a corp hangar. Jim Bob drops Item F(faction item) into the drop off hangar as well as 100 other item I's(Tech I items). Jill(another Corp director) who has just logged in, and hasnt figured out what she wants to do during her time in eve yet. Jill opens the corp hangar because thats what she was told what one of her jobs were(sort drop off hangar and put things where they belong). Jill opens the Drop off tab and notices there are 101 items in the drop off hangar, so she starts sorting them. Jill See's an item that has a different color than the rest on the top left corner of its picture. She see's an F, and now knows that it is a Faction module. She drops it into the Directors hangar; and the 100 other items into the T1 hangar. TADA!!!!!
Feel free to give yoru input....I dont care about the spelling or grammer...I typed this in afit of rage after being fed up with seeing faction mods where new members can get to them....nuff said. Constructive criticism is wanted...no flamers please.

I think a small META number would suffice, and provide much better granularity over just 'named' or 'faction'.

my idea is to just have a "sort by meta level" function to the already available "sort by" list.

Similarly can be useful on the ship HUD, e.g. when I have a mix of faction ECM modules and normal ECM modules, I can't remember which one is which and would like to activate the faction mods on the harder to jam targets.
