I just recognized, that the option to run EVE on 2 different monitors is no longer available. Isnt EVE capable anymore to manage dual monitors? Iam just curious, because i thought of testing it yesterday and missed the function. _____________________________________ Dead or Alive

They took the feature away. Apparently it wasn't up to much.
CCP! Bring it back! EVE on 2 monitors would be great!

as I recall it never worked very well - to many issues so the ability was removed from the game menus.
Read "Game menus"
Open up your prefs.ini file and find the following: (This still works and is possible afaik) desktopHeight=768 desktopPrimary=1 desktopSetup=1 desktopWidth=1024 (My screen is set to 1024x768 with my LCD screen) Have fun. - and more than likely you will have some problems doing it, I couldn't get it to work with my dual moniters but I didn't really fiddle around very long, I just wanted to play.
Good luck, I can't help you more myself.

I thought it still worked fine as well, you just needed to run in Windowed mode?
A side note: It will split your ship right down the middle of the screen, best way to do it, cash and deskspace permiting is with 3 monitors. Check out Matrox website for an example of Eve on three screens.
be lucky!

Splitting a windowed EVE is not quite the same as running it properly on two screens.
The possibilites would be great... we can only hope CCP change their mind and develop this feature.

only if the Screens would be LCDs actually... don't want to be the light with all the radiation... and the ebil 100Hz flickering (you don't see it, but you notice your eyes getting tired from it very fast anyway, when used to LCD Screens) from all sides would kill my eyes in like 3 hours or so... but nice setup, tho^^

Only diference i can think of is that alt-tab wont crash like full-screen and that the processor is doing all the gfx work. Considering Eve was written to work miracles on pants gfx cards anyway and, if you got multiple monitors you probably have a fast P4 this should not be a problem.
What diferences are there to running windowed and full screen (apart from full screen alt-tab crash)?
Be lucky!

Wow, I didn't even know CCP did that. That would be UBER cool if that were the case! However, I'm sure a lot of noobs would cause huge problems for CCP trying to figure out how to make it work :) ----------

I run Eve in dual screen mode, it makes the gfx card scream a little to begin with but it soon settles down. Contact me in game for a low down on how it's done.
