Since i have formated my C: and installed my HD 4850, i had some problems when i was playing EVE - Crashes of all kind - My LCD display acts like there wasnŠt a video card plugged to it - Driver gets stuck and I'm unable to do anything other than reseting the computer - A driver called ati2dvag.dll suddenly stop working. I tried old drivers (9.2 and 9.4) but nothing worked. Does anyone know a solution or sugestions about it?
I played a lot of different games and the problem happens only while playing Eve.

Works a treat on my computer, make sure the gfx card gets enough juice from the power supply. Not enough juice = unstable system under load.

Completely uninstall every graphic driver/software on your PC, then do a fresh full install of the latest full CCC from ATI.
Then ensure that your screen is plugged into the VGA/DVI/HDMI socket near the base of your PC.
NOT the VGA socket near the centre of your pc beside the I/O panel, NEVER use that socket.
Ensure you are on the latest directX for your OS. DX10.1 for Vista/Win7 and DX9.0c for XP.
Ensure any drivers for any hardware you have is fully up to date, it could be a conflict from the basic drivers the fresh OS provides. ------------------------------------- Read my bio ingame for tips on how to live and not be called nasty names by me. |

Check temperature on card under load, set interval to 1 in graphics settings.

Programs to try: crap cleaner and drive cleaner (the free, not the commercial version). Simple uninstall is sometimes not enough. Running on 08.12 driver :)
