I'd like to see any other MMO company solve this as quickly as CCP is.

TBH the game has so many annoying little 'features' that need fixing such as:
Ships not docking when asked. Gang invites sometimes taking ages to come through and sometimes almost instant. The stupid scanning graphics that look like you're wearing fishnets on your head so you can't see the probes to move them. Rubbish sound engine. Lag (still). Rubbish choice of missions. Not being able to zoom out enough when using probes over 64au.
But none of the above make the game unplayable, but this locking up bug does, it works in a strange way, I had it where I gang warped to the next gate, the client that locked up showed the ship still on the 'in' gate but the ship was on the 'out' gate, could be targetted, fired on and took damage that showed up on the locked up client.
I'm not bothered about the PvP side, but even moving stuff around empire is likely to lock up.
Please ccp, do the decent thing and offer some kind of compensation, be it extra time, or some other little gift as an apology.
It's not often I'm wrong, apart from the comments I make in the signature, and then I'm often wrong. On the other hand maybe I'm getting confused. ......My head hurts :( |

Someone who sais "I didn't have such a problem" - what is in your ESC -> Display and Graphics -> Anvanced settings (checked) -> Present interval?
The question has been arised after I found that the 1.2.2 patch has forced to set this parameter to "default". I've put it back to my previous "immediate". The result is 2x more FPS and up-to-now 20+ jumps through the gates give me no bug..
Of cause it's may be just a lucky thing but need to be checked in a roaming.
I have it on 'interval one' and I'm not bugging out all that often. Though I still get it if I jump at the same time as someone else, about 50% of the time.

Its very strange, but I took the time to plot out larger BOB/Kenny conflicts and map them out to the dates and times of the larger game breaking bugs, and they match enough that an overly paranoid paying customer like myself could say that the devs who are a part of BOB/Kenny introduced these bugs to help them in their wars, possibly even without CCP's permission or oversight.
Of course I'm not saying this actualy happened, just mentioning that it is an interesting coincidence.

I have never whined about a game problem before, but waiting this long to fix this is unreal. In fact this is among the worst customer response CCP has done yet. The game is almost un-playable. It is not random, it affects EVERY player, and happens about every 5th gate or so. I work on computers for a living, and starting Monday, im going to tell all my clients that I have a fix for there problems, but I will not deploy it for 5 days because I can.. Lets see how long I keep a job.. -----------------------------------------------

This is a "feature" that only needs to occur *ONCE* to kill you. Last night I was auto-piloting through empire approx 18 jumps, and had to relog 5-6 times. I do not dare travel through 0.0 at this point, as I fear I will jump into a hostile camp and not know it until I relog, and discover myself reading an evemail from myself saying "enjoy your afterlife".
I lose enough ships through my own stupidity; I can't afford to lose any more because of someone elses.
As much as I love this game, I am really beginning to hate it... |

Obligatory: Can I have your stuff when you quit?
Yeah, it's frustrating. But, look at the bright side. In less than 24 hours, now, it should be fixed. And, for all of you out there complaining-- how many of you actually took the time to file a bug report? |

I can't believe QA allowed you to release a game that does not work. On top of all the other ridiculous bugs that manage the "slip through" the net of your QA team whose looseness can be likened to a middle aged prostitute.
Please, fire the people who have caused the universal ****ing off of the entire EVE community and invest in some decent testers.
The fact that the last 4 ships I have lost have been "augmented" by bugs such as the warp to 0 on station bug, the terrible nodes you put critical systems on (see: I1Y) and the devs' most recent screw up is simply not acceptable.
CCP, when are you going to hire competent people? Devs who can develop and test in a practical environment? Testers who don't manage to lose fundamental flaws in your game? A community services team that can empathise with the community and apologise?
I will be petitioning for my 7 wasted days of game time and the ships I've lost due to your screw ups. __________________________

This bug hasn't helped bob/kenny at all. If anything it has ground their campaign to a stand still because They can't jump into l1y-. Kenny lsot all progress they have made because of this bug.

Just wondering if the sound bug is going to get fixed aswell ? Since patch 1.2 i think it was, my sound in game has been absolutey awefull specially when using the MAP, which coincidentally caused me to loose my ship / sister probe launcher on my alt becuase i couldnt "hear" it being attacked ( by a suicide ganker). This sound bug has really played havoc on my hardware too causing alot of crackling. Was fine before the patch.

not difficult for me to reproduce. happens to all my alts. no matter if they are white, black, green, purple, yellow etc...

Are we going to see a fix for the overview bug anytime soon (the one where ships stay on overview even when they have warped off grid, or left system sometimes?).
What about the bug with bubbles where you do not get dragged into them properly?
And yes I have filed a bug report for both |

But yah, I'd rather see this patch come through with some testing, in that regard I agree with you. I just hope CCP realises the overview bug is nearly as bad as the gate crash, it's bloody risky to PvP when you can't know for sure what's in space in front of you. That things really needs to be as high prio as the gatefix right now.
I just had a whole fleet dissappear from my overview. Not too much fun when you're trying to dogfight their ceptors in front of a blob... Totally gamebreaking to me, agreed. --- WOLFY is recruiting!

"Obviously there are people desperately waiting for this patch and there are several ways to make those people help. E.g. they could deploy a hotfix on Sisi and tell people to get in there and test if they still have the problem."
Unfortunately anyone trying to get the test server working right now is also experiencing a bug and cannot get the test server installation process to work. CCP has balls to charge as much as they do for a service that fails so well. If this game were free I'd have no complaints, but instead I feel like I've paid money and wasted an awful lot of my time to playtest a product for them. If EVE were a restaurant I would send my food back to the kitchen and walk out without paying.

I see alot of ppl overreacting. Do you think theres anygame in the world that has nothing at all wrong with it on an expansion? Hell no lol(Not even new games that gets released), Everygame there is has problems that needs to be tweaked and fixed. So stop dissing and putting your frustration out of daily life on them.
Ive had problems with the jump bug a ****load but only while i traveled in my Badger, most of my other m8s had the same thing occur, and once again only when they were in badger I or Badger II. Not much of a superproblem.
A good word of advice that goes for all aspects of life. Dont waste energy on something you cant do anything about, Just accept its something wrong, file a petition and let them work it out, have fun in the game. Disregard about the bugs that may happen, theres nothing you can do about it once it happens to you. So tell yourself when it happens, Aw ****, ok it happend, **** happens im just gonna relog now and go on to do whatever i was doing.
Awesome work CCP! I love the game :)

Hi all
Well just got a 24hour activation time to see if I want to rejoin. Was a EVE boy for 2.5 years then been off 11months.
So far, 4 hours of my 24 time pass taken up with a download and bug fix..:) Nothing new there then. And cluster not taking connection..lol
I guess the game has changed lots in 11months and I am told I can buy Plex's(?) for 300m in the market that allow me 30 day time play...ummm is that anygood?
Was looking forward to playing the game but but it looks like that idea has hit a brick wall.
Still the game appears to look nice, new shiny bits and all.
K..:)
