Hi.
There's a big problem with sec status.
Currently, according to your sec status, the Navy shoots you in some systems. The lower your sec status, the lower you have to go for the Navy not to shoot you.
* Below -2 = not in 1.0 sec systems * Below -2.5 = not in 0.9 sec systems * Below -3 = not in 0.8 sec systems * Below -3.5 = not in 0.7 systems * Below -4 = not in 0.6 systems * Below -4.5 = not in 0.5 systems * -5 or below = KOS in all empire.
This from the wiki.
However, if you go through 1.0 and get shot once there, you get an aggression countdown, and the Navy will shoot you in other systems no matter what their security.
If you're -3.1 for example, you're bound to pass through some 0.8 or 0.9 systems on your way to a peaceful 0.7 system where you SHOULDN'T get shot and still get shot because you got an aggro countdown from the Navy.
So basically the whole system sec limit according to player sec is ridiculous.
Either just make it "you will get shot in all high sec starting from blabla sec" or remove the aggression countdown.
No?

Bump. This is VERY important. There's no carebear vs ganker / high sec should be more dangerous for gankers vs high sec should be less profitable for carebears argument here. No moral issuse. Just a game mechanic that makes no sense. As soon as you're below -2, you're effectively limited to low-sec, except if you consider waiting out a 15 minutes countdown every time you cross 1.0 fine.

Don't kill civilians and you won't have any problems with your security status. If you kill civilians, then learn to deal with the consequenses.
Just be glad that it is the faction navy that comes after you for going into a higher security system and not CONCORD as it "should" be.

1. consequenCes
2. What an ingenious way of COMPLETELY ignoring the point. I'm not saying player pirates shouldn't have trouble in high-sec. Maybe they should, maybe they shouldn't, whatever, I don't care, I'm not expecting CCP to change that anytime soon.
I am saying that the aggression countdown system makes no sense, and means that as soon as you dip below -2.0 you basically can't fly with a gang in high-sec, leaving you unable to contribute to your corp, because as soon as you cross a 1.0 system, you're incapacitated for 15 minutes.
Either remove navy aggression countdowns or make it such that as soon as you dip below a certain sec status you get shot in ALL of high-sec.
