I am sure that the issue has been brought a number of times before but being a new player I wonder why the feature is still missing.
Of course I am talking about the amount of armor, shield, energy logistics have contributed to the battle. If the amount is recorded into the kill mails somehow then many players would enjoy flying logistics and this would result in much longer lasting and satisfying battles.
This could basically be done by adding the player to the kill mail if he has repped a player who had aggro on the target/damage dealers in the km; same thing seems to work when repping someone in empire - then the repper gets aggro too.
Healing (or armor/shield rep as it is known in EVE) and buffing (or warfare bonuses) are very old and well known concept in most of the MMORPG world.
A wise developer would make people comfortable playing "healers" since this makes the game much more deeper and interesting for everybody.
Playing healing character is not that rewarding in most of the games (compared to the damage dealers) but in EVE it is even worst. Virtually you get no record for your contribution to the battle.
People just like the recognition for the job they have done and when it is missing they would prefer other ships to fly.

Got a point. I dont see why not.. give recognition where its due. Absolutely everything is subjective. |

I guess this is a good idea, recently got into a guardian myself and it would be nice to be on the killboard

Has been suggested a few gazillion times in F&I, and as a long time logistics pilot i really do support this. ----------------------------------------------

Makes sense to me. Most people would rather fly a ship that will allow them to show up on a killmail than fly a logistics ship (or worse, fit a weapon in place of a rep). Having logistics pilots show up on killmails would more than likely encourage people to use these ships more. |

It's not a perfect solution - when no friendlies die, there are no lossmails to get on - but it could also provide a means of getting evidence of the wardec abuse people are on about these days (neuts consistently repping one side would quickly become apparent, providing some are actually killed)

Supported. However, I could see how some Logistics pilots might actually prefer to stay off of KMs for intel reasons. |

Edited by: Laxyr on 25/06/2009 15:28:27 As an Eve Player I think it's a valid question why this feature is not implemented.
As a Basilisk pilot I think your reward for repping your comrades in battle is your comrades not dieing - and they will love you for it =)
I rather sit in the background unseen, saving lives (yeah, I know how this must sound ;-).
