How viable is this?
My main will either be flying Ishtar or Domi - Undecided on which, advice would be appreciated. I'm leaning more towards Ishtar, but am thinking a heavily tanked Sentry Domi would be good, as I can just sit on the drones in case they get aggro.
Alt will be in an exploration set up Cheetah. Do I need hacking / archeology mods in Wspace?
My main reason for going in will be to explore and have fun, not to grind out isk.

If you stumble across a mag or radar site it is handy to have analyzers and code breakers fitted.

Edited by: Kzintee on 29/05/2009 14:30:23 I'm currently working on WHs in a solo Harbi with salvager, probe launcher and code breaker. Needless to say it's a PITA. The setup I'm going for is a dedicated char scanner/salvager/hacker in a CovOps, leaving me to use the main to its full pew pew potential. In such setup, the main wouldn't probabably even fit a probe launcher...I'd go for a cloak instead.
You can only do this up to C3 WHs anyway...and they are all soloable, but the CovOps alt adds a nice redundancy to the whole operation.
The good news is that it takes only 3.5 weeks to train the abovementioned utility alt.

Edited by: Liteshow on 29/05/2009 17:16:01 I run class 3's and below in a drake for pew pew. Once the sleepers are done spawning (or if I need to warp out due to screwing up triggers) I have a 2nd char in a "mobile repair station" arbitrator. Remote hull rep, shield charger, salvager and probe launcher in highs, cap chargers and analyzer in meds (haven't trained hacking on 2nd char yet), cap rechargers on lows, 5 med armor drones, 5 med shield drones, and 10 spare light combat drones. Alt sits in a SS until sleepers are wiped out, then swoops in to recharge my passive tank/rep armor hull as needed. This setup can charge my 14k+ shield from nothing to full in about 2 moins with mediocre skills. This also makes for a lot more cargo space. I come in with spare ammo in the alt's hold, and as I loot/salvage, trade out before going to the next site.
I'm also considering dropping the salvager or shield repper for a cloak, due to a close encounter of the ganking kind I barely escaped the other day...

I run wormholes with two accounts, a combat pilot flying a Drake, and a Covops pilot to find sites inside. The Drake has a salvager and probe launcher, and the covops has a probe launcher plus codebreaker and analyzer. Drake handles the pewpew, covops lurks in a safe cloaked until all the sleepers are dead. ___

I do the same as Kzinti and Wayson, except that I use a covert ops and a Hurricane. NP at all soloing all sites in wormholes up to level 3.
