I apologize if a similar thread has been posted recently, as I was unable to find one.
Thoughts or suggestions of a better heavy tackler platform? Being able to active tank two full flights of warrior II's seems appealing to me for an assault ship tackler.
On the other hand, I am not to happy with the thermal hole. --

I would lose the nanofiber, your not going to get this ship to be fast enough to catch anything but cruisers anyways so might as well fit more resistances.
You can probably plate it with a 200 and still outrun MWD cruisers with your MWD. For gang work if it fits, I haven't checked I would fit a second small nos cause those autocannons are not doing much damage anyways. --- Its like my mom always said... "I knew I should of drowned that one." |

Also I use corpii C type SAR on my vengeances, only 10 mil ish for the repper its easier to fit and will greatly improve your tank. --- Its like my mom always said... "I knew I should of drowned that one." |

Your thermal hole filled.
EFT says you can hold up against 450+ Thermal dps forever if you can get in range and put those vamps to use.

Swap the nano for a thermal resist mod (active or passive) and you're good to go.

Edited by: Wannabehero on 29/05/2009 21:52:43 I thought about swapping the nano for a thermal membrane, but while under a web I i was thinking the extra speed might be handy, or the extra agility for when not webbed. All in all the vengeance is awesome except for the lousy weapon bonus and the poor agility. Wouldn't take it up against an AB fit cruiser though. Generally though I think I would agree, a thermal membrane instead of the nano.
I am loath to fit faction/deadspace gear on a frigate-sized tackler, even if it is cheap deadspace gear. --

I personally prefer having a web and 2 point scram. Lets you kill MWD's and web AB fit ships to a decent speed.
