T3 uses simmilar to T2 materials. Subsystems need to drop drastically in price. Overall ship and mod systems Market Price should resemble a command ship, NOT 2 Dreads!!!
Change wormholes to contain (otherwise only found in 0.0) valuable minerals and rats. This would give people not in the huge alliances a chance at these materials. It would still be good risk and good reward.
Lets make T3 a ship we can actually use please. 2 billion for a cruiser is just ridiculas.

I swear that there are some people in high sec entered wormhole are already able to get the ABC ores, and that in itself is worth the risk seeing that its currently a race to get all the Veldspar.
The wormholes are already containing lots of high reward items, just not enouhg people are bothered to go in and get them, hence the price of the T3 is quite high. The drop rate doesnt need to be increased, we just need more people to be bothered to go in there. ------------------------------------- Read my bio ingame for tips on how to live and not be called nasty names by me. |

And how do you suggest to bring people there?
Face it, you have a small minority of players willing to take risks for higher rewards, and a large majority of empire dwellers that will never, never go into a place where they might be podded, however high the rewards might be. You can't get the money if you're podded on the way, and that's what they'll all think.
The only realist way to solve the T3 component issue is to increase drastically the output of the small minority. ------------------------------------------

How to fix T3: train astrometrics, train salvaging, find wormholes, kill stuff, salvage the wrecks, profit!

Don't fix what's not broken. There's just too much people wanting a t3 and too few wanna take the effort of going in to w-space. That's what makes the price high. Want a t3? Go in yourself and get the parts. You can either sell those and buy your t3 with that money, or (let someone) build it.

Problem is Eve is a game of efficiency. People will not venture in mass into any activity that is nto efficient. Severalof the restriction from WH space make it so that people prefer to stay doing level 4 missions.
There is no way a shortage of high end ores in 0.0, in fact almost no one mines them. so why in hell to make huuuuge crokite roids in WH space? Make somethign useful, like SUPER concentrated veldspar ( yield 4 times normal veldspar), super concentrated spumadium ( like 100% more yield). THis type of things would attract industrialk activity.
Other necesssity is to make a proper base of operation. Maybe some special POs that cannot mount as much stuff but that can stay much longer without fuel etc...

T3 is getting cheaper all the time. I have no doubt it will drop to the prices you say in the not too distant future. The main bottleneck for making all the T3 lovelies, imo, is the people who actually have the skills to do it.

I meant FAR longer..... like somethign you need to fuel 3 -4 times a year only but that cannot fit guns, and can only fit corp hangars and fitting arrays.

I don't believe this is the problem. The main problem is: Neurovisual Input Matrix. This is an ancient salvage item that is used in EVERY T3 item. It isn't a rare drop, but it isn't common either, and it constantly in high demand ... to the tune of 9.5mil a pop more often than not. That item alone is the single biggest cause of high T3 prices. The next in line is the lack of ability to choose which level of subsystem you want to attempt to reverse engineer. There are other factors that play into it, but those two things lead the pack by leaps and bounds (with the Neurovisual Input Matrix having 2-3 times the effect on price than the other).
