Edited by: Deviana Sevidon on 05/06/2009 11:44:45 After having played the Epic Storyarc and read the Chronicle I still do not get the Story.
During the Arc the Player at first ivestigates at first a Battle and after this you have to locate the Survivors of this Battle among them is Karin. Then the Story switches to a hunt after a (Super)Drone. When you have found the Drone it is destroyed by Dagan and then you hunt after him. When you finally found Dagan, you find out he is involved with the SOCT and you get the mission to help the Sisters insert a Spy for the Sisters into the SOCT and capture Dagan.
During the last Mission you deliver Dagan to a prison Ship, escorted by Ships of all 4 Empires and these Ships are apparantly bound to fly to a Rogue Drone Hive.
In the end of the Epic Arc I was more confused then ever and this Chronicle did not exactly help.

Thank your for finally explaining what this chronicle is about, but your post should probably have a spoiler warning for the epic mission arc. I don't really care much myself because I doubt I'll ever run that arc, but others might.

Now that i recall, the first mission of the Arc is quite confusing. You were supposed to aid a stranded ship ("The Damsel" iirc), but when you arrive you actually see the wrecks of two dreadnoughts and a bunch of battleship wrecks around those. Never quite figured out how that fits with each other to be honest...

Hard to follow and I don't get it, but big Chronicles fan anway --- Sol: A microwarp drive? In a battleship? Are you insane? They arenĘt built for this! Clear Skies - The Movie |

So sleepers are "creatures" and not "autonoma" interesting.
Personally I don't think a single chron does justice to explain just how the heck someone managed to get a Sleeper back in to k-space without all hell breaking loose (like it's buddies getting the hump and following). A series of shorts that ends up with a guy, sitting in a frigate with a warning in his hold would be better IMHO.
Also the disjointed time line technique doesn't honestly work. It didn't work in LoTR (and to be honest its the most jaring bit of the book).
