Leave now, or we will be forced to attack.
This is a typical mission "warning" from the rats when you enter a mission area.
Imagine how much fun it would be to be able to have a dialogue with your mission foes. For example, taking your decked out CNR or Navy Mega into a level 4 mission... you could say in local:
"Serpentis scum, give up! I have enough power behind this machine to blast you to high heavens! Leave or give me what I need and I'll let you live..."
This would cause the rats to ditch their loot and flag the mission complete. An easy way out of a mission however would not come without it's caveats:
♥ You would need high charisma. You can't swindle someone without being appealing or having some sort of personality trait going for you.
♥ You would have to have an intimidating factor about you, such as negative security status or a balance of standings against the foe (closer to 0 or + standings with the foe the better your chance of not having to engage).
♥ The LP cost for completing the mission would be compromised as you do not destroy the objective, but rather let it escape. This could also be modified to force you to complete an objective, in an alternative manner.. such as accepting a mission from your mission TARGET.
Interesting thoughts I had, wondering if that seems like something you would like to see!

You crack me up everytime. What youre asking for is a complicated way to decline a mission, why not just decline the mission. -

How bout just developing an isk subscription that you can get from your agent? I mean easy isk is great! So it must be greater to get even easier isk!

I like the idea to get rid of missions entirely.

First the economy, then anyone paying for the game VIA isk who isnt already rolling in it, then anyone who relied on them for isk (including thoes using the isk for PvP). All of that collapses face first. No more LP store good either.
And all become some people still believe they are more profitable than chaining 0.0 or decent exploration plexes?.

Faction Items should come from Faction Warfare.
And your understanding of economics is...rudimentary.

Yes, because eve's economy certainly wont notice the lack of modules/minerals from said reprocessed modules, at all. ___________________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

EvE will notice the increased demand for player industrialists and a distinct need to leave 1.0 space to make money.

As stupid as it sounds, it might at least be fun for NPCs to react realistically when I get bored and drop my Archon on a level 1 mission.

So can I bribe and smoothtalk them into doing a mining OP with me or will they just flip my can?

Potential of this idea -
All players rolling a faction battleship can now end missions with intimidation, but still get paid by their agent and obtain all the loot without having to fire a shot.
Downside - No bounties or salvage.
So basically people can bust into a mission, take a few minutes to intimidate and then pick up all the loot and get paid for a few minutes work.
Hmm, Naw.
