You'll need ot have base standing of 6.01 faction in order to deploy a POS. rounding up wouldn't work there anyway. Removed. Please keep your EVE signature related to your EVE persona and not that of a real life politician. Navigator |

lol that sucks, welp, looks like im sitting here for another week then so standings can go through... *sigh*
tbh, its as if the standings went through 1 day early... the corp was made on 2009.06.01 and its currently 2009.06.08, but doesnt it take 8 days? not 7? i heard 8 from somewhere... :S |

It takes 7 downtimes, so technically that could be anything from 7 to 8 days.

Edited by: Gavin DeVries on 08/06/2009 14:18:59 These days, it takes one downtime. The last guy left my corp this past Friday, Saturday morning the corp standing had adjusted up to my 7.27, and I anchored the tower. By Saturday afternoon everyone was back in the corp.
Edit - I had, of course, been in the corp for well over 7 days. It only counts people who've been in for 7 days straight, so making a new corporation will take 7 downtimes before it adjusts. ______________________________________________________ Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? |

so if i was to add someone with better standings today, will they go up based off his higher standings after tomorrows DT?

No, he has to be in the corp for 7 days before his standings count. However, if you already had someone in who was over the requirement, you could get everyone else to leave and the day after the standings would be high enough. ______________________________________________________ Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? |

We had a couple of unscheduled downtimes during the day a few days ago. I think my wormhole exploration object IDs changed during that time - I wonder whether the downtime ticker for corp faction could have been affected. |

Yes, the standings are the average of everyone who has been in the corp for 7 days or more, so people being kicked effects the average at the very next downtime, but people joining have no effect for 7 downtimes (downtime being daily at 11:00 GMT). |

I doubt it - presumably there's a script that gets run at regular DT that updates standings and such. The exploration IDs change whenever the system gets loaded onto a node, which happens after a normal DT or if the server/node/system dies. |
