SPVD have pretty much disbanded, with most of the original core members playing other games. the rest of us are pretty much split between m0o and Evol. I handed the CEO role back to Setec, and whoever is running his account now (I forget). .

But it had got to the point where I would be hunting on my own. And that's not much fun. We had some good times though, so I have no regrets. It was just time to move on. .

They change in the way leadership is given, corp assets are handeld and the freedom to engage whatever the hell you want (or not). Because of these structual changes both corps seem to attrackt a different kind of crowd as well. I miss Setec and the early SI, I think I was one of his earlier "victims" when he was playing the "polite" highway robber. Even though I came out of the encounter with my cargo depleted, my wallet full of moths, my heart-rate at a dangerously high level and my stomach in my throat. I have to say I learned a valuable lesson there, and actually had fun role-playing a bit with him then. (I'm sure he set up the Robotics for sale - cheap, so he got both the isk for the cargo and the isk from reducing my ship's mass of those heavy robotics). SI were then, the classy pirates. I had saved several cases of spirits for you (as a goodwill gesture - not a bribe... really) back when you were running the blockade in the sector our corp was working, but alas, it became another gankfest with all the wannabes and the cries of "Ban the Evil Pirates" and everyone moved off to other areas, even Molly kind of lost it, as she demonstrated over and over and over that 1.0 space wasn't safe for those tasteless afk miners (who for being afk a lot were able to make a lot of noise). Anyways, I ramble... I came back to see if Shiva is going to make the game interesting again (hopefully), if there are any lab slots left (no), and if CCP finally got to fixing the screen loading times for when the gate campers use the object overload technique to add easy kills to their tallyboards(?). Personally I'm glad that EVE will allow the nefarious elements to co-exist with the law-abiding ones (albiet nervously), it adds real colour to the universe. (and I don't mean the big Red WANTED colours across your portraits)
