Hello, I'm a caldari born pilot, but I've chosen to learn how to fly and operate amarrian ships, and raised my standings with the amarr (which is a pain in the ass to raise from 0). But now when I'm looking for a lvl 4 agent with good quality, I'm very very dissapointed with how they are diverted in the corp (Amarr Navy). Take the Internal Security division for example, the 2 most interesting agents in lvl 3, and the 4 most interesting agents in lvl 4 are all in the same solar system, even IN THE SAME STATION (!!), but thats not all, they are pretty deep into low sec.
Why is this? Why should you have to travel to low sec, and risk your ship and expensive mission fittings?? Why can't the Amarrian Navy have some good agents (good quality lvl 4's) in High sec? The Caldari Navy has several, and they don't have the same "hey, let's stack as many good agents we can find in one station" problem as the amarrians.
Please, can this be fixed? Can some of the agents have their bags packed up and being "relocated" to another station, in another systen, in another constallation?
Regards Centaari

/signed in fact /signed for minmatar and gallente as well
Unfortunately ccp seem to like the agent system being imbalanced towards the caldari if you look a few dev blogs ago they added like 24 new agents, most of these where caldari none where amarr and a few crappy ones for gallente and minmatar. Don't know why ccp want all mission runners to work for caldari but it's working as intended =s

ccp fix mining agent missions % pls

If you don't want to go to lowsec, why don't you try a different corp? Amarr Navy is not the only corp with high quality combat agents, for example Ministry of war has L4Q20 agent 2 jumps from Tash-Murkon Prime. And there are more high quality agents in Amarr hisec.

Yes I noticed this with several Amarr corps. Why stack agents? I mean, isn't it better to spread them around the constallations the corp has access to, so the systems that now contain many agents don't get so overloaded. Or just do it because of all us hard working mission runners/standing raisers that doesn't want to go into lowsec to find good agents :P |

Amarr Navy sucks, try Min of War, Min of Internal Order, or one of those families, not sure, just take a look at their agents! Good luck!
I agree though that it wasn't really productive to add even MORE good agents to Caldari, that'll just make more people hop to Caldari while the other factions are not very competetive. ---

Because you want the best agents?
There are more Amarr agents than just the Amarr navy ones. Actually Amarr is the only faction that has very good L4 Q20 agents in high-sec. Those are just not Amarr navy. Heck, what's with all this Navy nonsense? Why does everyone think he/she has to run missions for the navy corps? Use your head, the answer to your problems is there!
Gallente on the other hand have almost no good L4 agents, at all. It would be a bit more understandable if you were complaining about that.

I think all (or most of) the high quality agents were moved to low-sec a while back. The Caldari agents were not moved to the same extent as CCP had nowhere to put them or some such nonsense.
NB: Above statement may be flawed due to fallible memory.
Either way, there are lots of Q5-15 agents around high-sec and after a week or so the effective quality is the same .. just the initial period of time where income is lower.

Wrong way round. Players were hammering caldari mission hubs, more agents were needed there to spread the load. Players aren't hammering the other 3 factions, so the existing agents sufficed.
If it were up to CCP, all players would distribute themselves evenly among all agents but the dang stupid players all insist on working for one of the 4 navies, though primarily caldari navy.
Analogy: you don't build an office building in an area with half a dozen empty office buildings. You build one where they're all full. |

Try discovering the difference between normal corps and navy corps some time, and perhaps you'll be enlightened.
Edit: Arguably it is that difference that should be fixed, and thus open up more corps to those seeking the specific rewards from running navy missions. |

Oh yeah, please get off your high horse and enlighten me.
Just for your info, I don't know even one (ex-) mission runner who gives/gave a rat's tail about whether it's a navy corp or not. It used to be the misconception that only navy corps give out faction 'navy' ships. I thought that was fixed with LP stores.

Said agents being in 0.8 systems kinda defeat the point of them being Q20 in the first place, however...

Since it was your own somewhat arrogant post that got me on my high horse, and I was in the right mood to return that favour, perhaps you should consider your own posting style before complaining when others reciprocate.
As it happens, I'd be happy to enlighten as I'm in a better mood today. Navy agents provide blueprints of faction ships at far lower LP costs than the full faction ship. For those engaged in heavy faction ship sales, and they exist (if I can find it I'll dig out the Rags to Riches post that details how trading hundreds of CNRs got someone a huge fortune), this is probably seen as a good incentive to work exclusively with Navy corps. Normal corps don't offer these blueprints, and thus arguably if one wishes to fix the obsession with Navy corps, distributing the blueprints to all corps would seem one sensible alternative. ___ My views may not represent those of my corporation, which is why I never get invited to those diplomatic parties... Amarr Navy have an awesome l4 agent in Gyrezen, it's a dead end low-sec system with the only link being to a hi-sec system.
So, you can jump from Dabrid into this system, flying a noobship, dock at the station and get a mission. Most of the time the mission from this agent will send you to an encounter in hi-sec and give you twice the rewards of the same mission from a hi-sec agent. Since most of you are terrified of the prospect of actually missioning in low-sec you can decline missions that don't leave the system. If you can't do this because of time limits then there's a l4 agent in dabrid to tide you over, but you'll be getting half the rewards.... hopefully some people might take that as a hint and go to live in lowsec/0.0
