If you need an urgent withdrawal, send in-game mail (EVEmail) to Manalapan. Include as much information as you have about your account, although I don't believe you should put your password in the EVEmail.
Intresting been five days I still haven't seen my isk from doing this. I'm starting to agree with the idea that they're either selling it, or spreading it amongst alts and leaving their old alts behind. Some sign of, life would be nice, some show that they are actually trying to do something.
Well i asked for a return of my investment today.About 3 bille.
To be honest i'll be glad if i see any isk on my wallet appear. With Ebank i still had a 100% trust just didn't like the way it all was handled , this time it is a whole different thing.

I sent my request in EVE mail for my 5.3 billion yesterday and still have not gotten a reply. I told them that I would invest again when the site is back up, but I am disappointed by their lack of updates even on their own forum. Perhaps it should be in EBank we Trust... |

I requested a withdrawal 2 or 3 days ago, by EVEmail, and I also haven't gotten the ISK yet.

Ah, I can relate to this. We were toying with the idea of buying some transit and space from them (only a few racks), and well... let's just say that out of the 4GBIT commit we were testing... we could push maybe 1/4th that due to the crappy DDOS mitigation they had in place (another customer connected to the same switch as us was getting slammed). |

Unfortunately, there is nothing to point to that says you're wrong. The technical work should have been complete days ago; the rest is liquidation etc to handle the increase in withdrawals. They aren't helping themselves, though; the longer they let suspicion brew, the more withdrawal requests will come in.
I'm not helping, either, but then again, I don't work for DBANK.

Well looking at responses both here and on Dbank forums. The fact mana does hardly login , promised people could still withdraw yet does not even log in long enough to view the withdraw demands , leave alone even handle them. No responses both on these forums and Dbank forums , and if any then they are empty promises and no info on where they are in bringing it all back up.
No i'd say my isk is down the drain in this one and if by any chance it isn't then i'd suggest they close the books and give people their isk back and call it a day.Not enough staff to help out it seems , shar has called it a day , directors hardly log in at all.I say burnout of the top staff , prob due to RL , but nontheless they can't cope with what's on the table at this point.
The LEAST any business can do is update people on current issues. It is also why Ebank got some mud thrown at them. Not the fact that ric ran away with isk and not the fact a loan defaulted. Most people who commented where mad about the fact they did not know what was going on.This was also why i got my isk out of Ebank at the time.Difference being i had full trust in Ebank staff and that i would get my isk whenever i would ask for it so it was purely as a statement then. This time i asked the withdrawl because i felt i would loose my full investment

lol... now the staff is quitting... I truly hope it's not a loss, losing 50% of the banks in eve would definately be a fatal blow to the secondary market... but unforunately complete lack of infomation does tend to kill things. Was all the isk in this bank held by only one person?

Although I am unable to offer you any information about your money with DBANK, I can clarify some issues and give my own opinion on others.
Firstly, I have been with DBANK for 6 months, though only as a trader, and have got to know Manalapan reasonably well. I still do not believe Manalapan has any desire to allow DBANK to fail, let alone scam.
Q: So why havenÆt we heard anything from Manalapan? A: I have not had any contact with Man either but I believe the reason is because he does not have any satisfactory answers. Manalapan was NOT the developer of the Website/ database, that was Iknota, and without the systems neither he nor anybody else can process withdrawals. Q: What about the other DBANK staff? A: IÆll just list the people to clarify their roles:
Kitchie:Trader. I had about 2 billion of bank funds that I was happily multiplying though I returned all the funds to DBANK last week, in a fit of pique.
Shar Tegral:Auditor. Shar was contracted by DBANK to verify the bankÆs liquidity and to confirm that depositorsÆ cash was in the bank. To this end he was given all the staffÆs APIs and this he verified. However, following the website failure last week and comments made by Iknota, Shar resigned after which the APIs for Iknota and Manalapan were changed. Exec Order:Director/Teller. Unfortunately Exec Order is on two weeks holiday and will return next week. However, even were he here, he would not be able to process any withdrawals without the Website/Database. We have no way of verifying who has how much in what account or ability to debit that account following a transfer.
Rothimus:RothimusPrime was responsible for exploring new products for DBANK. He had no access to any funds or internals of the bank.
Salpad:Mostly retired but was responsible for DBANK PR. Again, he had no access to DBANK funds or internals.
For what itÆs worth, all of the above have deposits with DBANK, some very sizeable, and we are in the same situation as all other depositors.
As I have said, I think itÆs too early to call this a loss and I am still hoping that it will all be resolved eventually though this is purely based on my own faith in Manalapan. I am guessing that Manalapan has not posted because he does not have an answer for people yet. If he did post, he would just get flamed and nothing would be achieved except for a high level of irritation.

I disagree. Posting to say 'we're working on it', or his resolution plan is, or a timetable etc. would all be far more effective than ignoring the situation. I'm sure many people now regard their money as lost. Others will certainly be withdrawing their funds when the website comes back up. Certainly the rate of future desposits in Dbank is going to drop. And this coming at a time when Dbank could have been capitalising in the recent Ricdics affair.
While I appreciate your post Kitchie, it's not you that should be posting, it's Manalapan. The longer it goes without him posting, the more dissatisfied customers are going to become. |

Malapan is kind of "hostage" of a web master who suddenly changed priorities and dumped the "internet spaceships" unpaid work.
What do you expect off him to be able to say? |

That he is still around, and doing everything he can to either
(A) Get Dynasty Banking going again. (B) Close Dynasty Banking down, and giving everyone their ISK back.

Underlined the key point here. Although I also do not believe that this has turned out to be an extremely large scam, this point here is a bit... well... hard to refute. Can we come up with some real legitmate reasons why someone would change their API? Especially in the midst of a crisis? |

I do not want to add to this drama.
What I think and know are two different things. What I think is that Manalapan simply has, or had, two choices in front of him. Liquidate & shut down or run.
Choice #1 would be a pain in the ass, a mess, and possibly more effort than is in 99.9% of the players here. Myself, I would have simply announced that all interest rates are suspended, accounts are frozen, and that liquidation would be starting. I'd simply start cashing people out "first come, first serve" as isk is available. Might take a month or three but it could be done.
Choice #2 is easier, generally makes a person (in)famous, and the consequences can be readily avoided.
That's what I think, what I know is that in the past week dBank had its liquid cash reserves wiped out. Or at least good sources informed me that Manalapan contacted other isk depositories for liquidity loans. I've also found out that those loans were rejected as no collateral(s) were offered. Also, I don't know anyone who has been in contact with Manalapan in the past couple of days since then.
Now, Man could be struggling with trying to get a grip on what is going on and is dealing in good faith. Or he could be doing a runner and his attempts at getting more liquidity was to push his take higher.
Don't know but right now it's 6 in one hand, half a dozen in the other. No access to your funds from the bank is still no access regardless of the actual reasons.
Which is why I haven't commented or added to this thread. Nothing left to add but drama until Manalapan say something. |

In short it's either a run with the isk or there is even no more isk to run off with .
At this point i'd say it's safe to accept the chance of getting our investment back is verry little to none.

I never had access to the details so only Shar could clarify this but my understanding was that 20% of the banks funds were in cash and the rest tied up in Loans - 75 Bill, trading about 300 Bill, Investments 96 Billion with cash being about 120 Billion.
The above figures were from March so rather out of date but the majority of funds had to be tied up in order to cover the necessary interest payments.
I'm assuming that Shar would have been waving red flags a long time ago had this not been the case.
I doubt all those could be liquidated that fast so I can't see how there could be little to none left.....

And i can't see why in a weeks time the replies where allmost zero from Dbank itself and most questions both here and on the DBank forums in specific have been neglected. There was a promise withdrawls could go on wich is not the case.No info on ETA of the site.Basicaly just some empty words in the first days followed by pure silence for the last 4 days.
So at this point i say any speculations are fair play.

Another possibility is that the site's back-ups are older than we think they are (say, month old?), so Manalapan has to manually insert the deposits and withdrawals into the database... |

Probably highly indiscreet but the following are Manalapan's last two posts in the Private DBANK forum. Nothing since the 18th. However, according to his profile on the forums, he did log into them today but no post....

Kitchie, we appreciate the infomation you have given us. And those posts do provide some insight into Manalapan's line of thought... It definately doesn't indicate a run with the cash... but unforunately there isn't much infomation to support either side. I guess time will tell. I personally hope the money isn't lost (as would anyone who had funds deposited) but I am no longer counting on getting that money soon.

If Man is posting on the dbank private forums,as recently as 3 days ago, perhaps someone should tell him to get his ass public, and make an announcement, before any work he does now to save his enterprise is completely destroyed..
The public, and customers are worried, and as far I can tell, it's HIS responsibility and no-one else's to reassure the customer base.. |

You have a lot of relevant experience, Selene. Why not open a thread with some suggestions? What we have now is utterly pathetic, given the size of Eve¦s economy. I can¦t tell how much of it is down to useless management, and how much is down to CCP limitations.
