There is a system in the Heimatar region named Ingunn where a phenomena is taking place.
This is 0.3 system where at any given time there is 138 in local.
All have random names (AQWERT, TREWQ, etc)
All seem to be running a warp macro or a mining macro. Warping to random places warping back. a blob of 20 Sitting at gates for exactly 20 seconds then warping off together.
It may be some sort of cover for a larger operation. Intel suggests a hand ful of macros are mining the system and the rest are (decoys)
The system has 1558 jumps in the last hour
Any pirates looking to kill macros there are plenty here. Come and get it!

That's really old news... they've been there for over a year. Metafarmers cleaned them out for a while but they came back

130 to 150 of these macro pilots in ingunn and in surounding system there are at least 20 in each system warping to empire then back to ingunn. very very odd. i believe these chars are also being sold for real money by isk selling websites since there are an estimated 200 accounts running at any given time and all are over 1 month to 3 months old.

Interesting, although it's not as gratifying without tears... will pass word to the hulk farming departement and see if they are interested.

when we did our wormhole trip trough the whole of EvE, we found that if you kill 300 of them, BS's will spawn , and they do |

-Facts- They are all courier farmers that consist of one RL person running macros on up to as much as 8 accounts at a time for ILLEGAL RMT COMPANIES. They fly shuttles and indy's and carry absolutely nothing of value (other than the occasional nub ship full of implants) The affected systems reach from gultrarten all the way up the pipe to emolgranlan. There are no secret mining ops goin on, metafarmers didn't make a dent in anything and from what I've seen, nobody can. We have camped there and surrounding areas for years killing thousands of ships in a night and they just keep coming like the plague. Apparently CCP cant even stop them, or maybe they just don't want to?
BTW Naga, intel suggests that your intel is horrible.

Back in the day, if you killed enough of them, a Faction Raven would spawn.
Thank the farmers and the ISK buyers. Thank every one of them, for they pay for Hellmar's yacht so you don't have to. |

Gang coordinated macros? Lmao! Can't wait till I hear that instead of haulers they used battleships and killed everything that jumped through automatically. Man the forums are gonna melt then. |

Are you suggesting attacking these macros using some sort of automated system so you can co-ordinate hundreds of frigates/cruisers at the same time?

No I'm simply stating that if they can make a macro to mine and now have a macro to coordinate a gang then they can replace the haulers with battleships and have a macro blob that attacks whatever the programmer sets up. Automatically.

Confirming im not the person waiting in a gank fitted Mega to gank you while you ganking macros.
Also confirming that Ingunn had a local count of 3-10 yesterday instead of 130-150, so whatever happend, I like it.

As sayed before, nobody was mining there, this are all hauling macros, moving worthless Items from A to B with cheap T1 fitted haulers.

Well two years ago there was nearly 400 of them.. CCP used banhammer and I guess they are back.
The reason is that Ingunn has 3x Q20 courier agents... And there is other agent hubs nearby too, so what they do is that the macros stack the missions, they do sometimes nine of them at the same time. That means steady 45 M ISK per hour per macro... So those macros are doing 5.8 B ISK every freaking hour... That's just 49,11075 B ISK per year without interruptions...

LOL... What they do is that they create account and pay the accounts with PLEX's after that...
Each of those make about 45 M ISK per hour, 10 hours of month and the account is paid... Rest of that, well that goes straight for sale to stupid players who buy ISK from RMT's...
Macros do not pay their accounts with real money, nobody wouldn't be so stupid.

Derp... someone is buying those plexes though...
They are still injecting cash into the coffers indirectly.

EDIT: the random people buying GTC's and selling them via secure system aren't buying them for the macros - they aren't connected to each other...
You make it sound like the system is finite. People buy GTCs and convert them to plexes, macros and many other people buy said plexes with ISK. Whether you like it or not, they are giving CCP money.
Saying somebody would buy them anyway is a joke. That's like saying if somebody doesn't subscribe to the game, someone else will, and all will be good. Would you rather not have both do so? |
