Is this some sort of trolling by CCP? I could understand seven days on Wing Command V and fourteen days on FC V but seriously three months of training for just those two skills? Winmatar > Everything else |

Personally, I stopped at fleet command 3.... was usually enough at the time I used it. Reactivated in response to the change in direction.....-á |

I've also always been perplexed by this, especially considering the attributes required to train as well. Considering the benefits as well... |

+1 for something that's always bugged me too.
CCP promotes 'team play' yet they make the mechanics for this training end up as a gamers nightmare. A serious fleet booster needs like, 9 million sp in leadership. 4-6 months of dedication so you can...not really have fun doing what you do. |

Unless there's something I missed I don't think there'd really be harm in reducing the ranks of these skills. They're also charisma/willpower, which is understandable but I don't know of anyone who ever remaps for charisma on a pvp toon. Support showing T2 and faction frequency crystal damage in the info window. |

Three months? I did mine in twoGǪ
It's not that over the top GÇö you're going for the pinnacle of fleet composition, after all. Being able to spread significant bonuses to 250 people should cost a pretty penny (or whatever the time equivalent is). Rank 2 and 4 is definitely too cheap. GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥
Shift-click does nothing GÇö why the Unified Inventory isn't ready for primetime. |

For a skill that only 1 in 250 characters needs I'd say this training time is ok. |

I think the training times are fine. This skill is associated with significant benefit for multiple players and allows a large grouping of players in a single fleet. There is no reason the Leadership skills should be a matter of a month to train them all to five by comparison. Next you'll be asking to have drones reduced to 4 hour trainers to 5, which would make sense in comparison. Auction - EVE Rogues Alliance [ROGUE]: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1215438#post1215438-á-á~ Auction starts @ 20 Million ISK. |

I respecced into Char/WP and trained up the Leadership stuff, plus some other WP based skills. No biggie... no need to change it. |

I've done this partiular grind on two characters including this one, and I would agree that 15.8m SP (Char/Will) is more than fair under the current system given the potential system-wide bonuses you can hand out with such a character.
That said if anything were to come of the calls to nerf offgrid boosting, then I would argue that the training time for the whole leadership tree would need revising. |

It's not supposed to be easy. Get used to long training times. As someone pointed out these skills are the pinnacle of a whole role in the game. I think some new(er) players got spoiled with tech III subsystem skills tbh. I think that was the wrong move by CCP, even if a ship loss results in some lost sp. The game has always been about long training times. It is not a throwaway game. You commit to a skill and it makes the eventual acheivement much more satisfying. |
