Hello over the past few weeks I have been attack multiple times in high sec on my different alts. Yes I know that High sec is safer, not 100% safe; however with the increasing amount of emipre ganking has made nothing safe. In this last kill I wasn't eve hauling 100mil isk stuff and I am was killed. How is anyone suppose to move anything without the fear of being killed and an area that CCP claims to be fairly safe? I have currently 4 active accounts. I am strongly thinking about cancelling all of my accounts because loosing more isk than i am able to make is a waste of my time and my money. I strongly Suggest you talk with your superiours and on the upcoming patch you remove all insurance from ships/ characters who highsec gank. Add more Guns and NPC ships on gates and stations in any highsec system to help prevent high sec ganks. And making anyone who high sec ganks have a security status of -10, and not allow someone with -10 security status enter or leave as station in high sec station. It is a players decision act as pirates, and I expect that in low sec or null space, however there currently is no difference between High sec and null sec. Don't Drop the ball on fix

Edited by: Robert Caldera on 23/06/2009 14:15:39 if CCP would like preventing ganks they could simply disable all weapons in highsec.
But you're right, its ridiculous the gankers keep getting insurance payouts after getting killed by concord. I was convinced that was not the case anymore after a recent patch discussion until I got ganked by some ****s for 50 mio. valued cargo.
Please remove insurance payouts for people lost their ship to concord! Even better, remove insurance entirely or nerf it significantly at least(only for new players, payout limit to T1 cruiser class ships or whatever), its purpose is only abuse in the most cases (obtaining free ships for fleetfights is one of them) anyways.

Well I like the Idea of Wardecing, and allowing people to fight in highsec, I just don't think it should be allowed against people who aren't wardecked

I believe you're playing the wrong game, world of warcraft is over there. Please resize your signature to the maximum allowed of 400 x 120 pixels with a maximum file size of 24000 bytes. Zymurgist |

then it should not be allowed to do works with skills wich are not allowed at trial account without haveing a corp
the current state of concord rapid reaction is always oversucked with the instand jamm....

Strange. I move valuables every day through popular gank routes and trabe hubs in high sec, yet I've never experienced an attack.
Bottom line: pay attention and learn to ship stuff properly. |

I think -10 sec status and increased police strength would be severe overreactions.
I do like the no insurance when shot down by concord idea though. That would make perfect sense.

The SCC (which is a part of CONCORD) pays out the insurance after you get blown up by the DED (which is a part or CONCORD).
Wait a minute...

concord already has been buffed enough, and its not too hard to fit a little tank on a ship so that your are not instapopped by gankers, also dont go afk and let them scan your cargohold to see if you even worth ganking. |

Edited by: Rip Minner on 25/06/2009 10:06:11 I can fit a gank Dominix to solo take out any none tanked Indy. Best of all the insurece covers everything. I know I would not bother with high sec ganking if I did not get Insurnece payed when my ship got poped by concord.
So simply stoping insurence payouts when your ship gets poped by concord would work wonders to lower this.
Edit: Becouse lets face it. I'm ganking people for free with the way insurence works now lol.

this is the point exactly. There is a small value of cargo making high sec ganking worthwhile. |

One of my alts were ganked by Brutix last week in 0.6 space, I was carrying t2 cargo expanders the whole haulage should have not been worth more that 90 mill on the market.
There waste time to even fly away as my Bestower with a 1 month old ALT had little protection skills.
What should happen is that if you get popped by concord then your insurance should not be paid out, just like drink driving in real life... your insurance company does not pay out.
What I can advise though is that if you do want to do AFK hauling on Auto Pilot in High sec DO NOT use an industrial ship
Instead use a ridiculously armored ships like an Abannon with 3 x 1600 plates and 2 passive Adaptive T2 rez modules etc (no Reps), making you so tough you would survive long enough for concord to pop whoever is attacking you and expensive for Gankers to bother trying as they would need 2+ battle ships to take you out before concord responded.
Or fly fast like I do, get a ship such as a Exequror or an Atron, place all low slots with Nanofiber Internal Structure II and add Rigs: Auxiliary Thrusters I for AFK flying, they will not have time to lock you and certainly not enough time for scanning your ship to see the content. Also for when you are not AFK use the same build but fit the best MWD possible place it in your top slot (F1) put yourself on Auto Pilot and just click on the F1 key every time you drop out of warp near a gate within 1-2 seconds you will be jumping.
