I got tired of double repping.
[Myrmidon, ..] 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II Damage Control II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
10MN MicroWarpdrive I Warp Scrambler II X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator Sensor Booster II, Scan Resolution
Light Neutron Blaster II, Void S Light Neutron Blaster II, Void S Light Neutron Blaster II, Void S Light Neutron Blaster II, Void S Light Neutron Blaster II, Void S Light Neutron Blaster II, Void S
Trimark Armor Pump I Trimark Armor Pump I Trimark Armor Pump I
Hammerhead II x2 Hobgoblin II x1 Ogre II x2
The second plate isn't really worth it without trimarks to multiply the HP...A second EANM II would do the job fine (5kish decrease in EHP) and without slowing it down even more than it goes with one plate.
All skills at level V:
640 DPS 78k EHP with Trimarks, 59k without. 14s align time with two plates 897 m/s with MWD on
I haven't tried Void ingame yet and i've heard about it being an EFT warrior's ammo, but the tracking is still better than heavy ion blasters (says EFT). Are there any other downsides to using it that i'm missing?
I won't be rigging it ingame since I don't rig my BCs, but I'm gonna try it out a few times on SiSi and see what happens. |

Once you've plated a Myrm that much you're probably going to be handling like a battleship not to mention you're not using the ships repairing bonus, so why not just use a Domi? It takes a little bit more cash to start out but costs about the same after insurance and is much more effective on virtually every level.
As far as Void goes, don't use it. It sucks. The only upside to it is the cheap cost. |

This just seems so wrong to me. Is this for solo roaming or fleets? ---------- This post brought to you by the worst PVP'er in Eve |

Normally void is useless, but since they're frigate guns I think an exception can be made.
As for handling... I'd go with a shield tanked pulse myrm, but that's an entirely different story .

I posted the same fit a year ago.
Drop the 2nd magstab II and put a 2nd EANM II. You'll never do a ton of dps with light neutron II's, the extra resistance is WELL worth it. If I'm in low sec by sentries I choose a medium armor rep II over the mag stab
You want over 90,000 effective HP with the sig radius of a BC (300 m^3).
This setup is SLOW but tanks really really well. It slaughters T1/T2 frigates (thx to double web and their assumption that you're fitting cruiser guns so they can 'dive' under your guns). Its also pretty good against close range cruisers.
Sure the slow speed sucks for tackle (if the enemy chooses to stay away from you) - but your drones will ensure you can still throw out damage.
My Current Myrm:
Damage Control II 2x Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II 2x 1600mm plate II Medium Armor Rep II
10MN MWD I Warp Disruptor II 2x Web II Medium Electrochemical Cap Booster
6x 200mm Autocannon II (capless and good tracking) - if you must stay with light neutrons you will have to use a named medium armor rep.
3x trimark
470 dps with ogre II's or 392 with a set of hammerhead II's. 95,000 HP 145 dps rep Capable of engaging a variety of targets - incredibly flexible.

learn2eft?
Also, bad idea imo, just get a sensor boosted domi for this. And the domi can acctually use full compliment of T2 ogrs as well. |

Not really. You'd still be able to get comparable damage using faction ammo, and you'd have the added advantage of being able to hit frigate-sized ships and enemy drones (something Lights+Void will not do reliably). ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

Edited by: Essence Praetor on 24/06/2009 01:27:59 That don't look like a bad fit . . . if you rig it.
If you don't, it's gonna melt.
P.S. I never get tired of rep 466 while dealing 690 DPS. But to each his own

Depends on whether or not you want a ship capable of tanking a blob of 6-7 ships or not. Dual rep will keep you alive better in small fights, super buffer with trimarks has allowed me to survive gate guns + 6 hostiles (BS HACs BC) - deagress and jump through to safety. |
