I have a tread that adresses multiple improvment areas, the two key ones being 1. Ice mining crystals, and 2. improvements to PI that will help make it quicker to set up extractors.

Planetary Interaction - function of extractors and factories. Please make it clearer that each building has an inbuilt silo or buffer storage capacity that pre-loads enough material for the next cycle. It is not clear that the little box that is headed 'INPUT' on the interface popup refers not to what is being processed at the time but the material that is available in the building already for the next process cycle. A simple change to the heading from 'Input' to 'Buffer Silo' may suffice. Also it is not clear that the illuminated ring around the factory icons on the planet surface also reflect the state of this buffer storage.

So how about truly customizable UI? This idea was raised several times (as I've found, it exists since 2006)
I'm a programmer by profession and I can say that this UI was created by programmers for programmers rather than for ordinary users. Not my words, but I agree with them.

I've been trying to find information on responses to macromining or even active threads. The ones in this topic date back to 2007 and it seems people gave up hope on the issue after that year. But what is happening on the macromining front, it's a bit frustrating to see the belts emptied infront of your eyes as swarms of macrominers (possible macrominers should prolly be the right term) cleanse the belts from us serious miners, but the macrominers usually tend to "stick out of the crowd" as one would say. I'm running 2 hulks and and Orca, and it used to be fun out there mining, but now it's just a waste of time really.
I can't seem to find any dev blogs or any information on how to combat this problem.
Any help? Or am I just bad at finding the right information?

Hey,
It would be a great asset if there whas a way to jam communications.
What should be here is a skill named "comm jamming" and ofcource a piece of hardware, a "comm jammer" t1, t2 etc.
U don't have to have a lot of immagination what the advantage of communication jamming can be, esp in battle's.

I looked and I apologize if I missed it and am being redundant. 2 things I would like to see and have heard from several other players about are: 1. Computer owned ships vs the Player owned version. for example the Machariel: 8 high slots, 7 turret hard-points and no launcher points. When missioning, I am constantly hit by missiles/torps fired from these type ships, yet my Machariel has no launcher hard-points on it, additionally, I "look" at some and see 8 guns firing at me, yet mine only has 7 turret hard-points. Shouldn't the "ship's" stats/features (notwithstanding player's skills)be equal across the board? I mean after all, players pay hundreds of millions of isks for these type ships and expect to get the same features they've been fighting against all along only to be disappointed that they can't do the same thing with it that the rats do.
2. Mission room Control tower setups vs Player owned control tower setups. I have heard many people comment on the walls, girders, junctions, barriers and other items in mission rooms that connect the Control tower to an equipment array, ship building array, corporate hanger array and other deployable items, but none of these seem to be available on the market, I can't tie everything together into one orderly structure, nor can I find landing pads or other cool items for use with my own POS.
I would like to see these and if I've posted this in the wrong area I do apologize in advance, I figure these are common items based on the number of conversations I've had with players saying the same things to me.

I'd like to make an addition to the idea of rigs for converting cargo to drone bay space. The idea would be 2 fold with a rig that increased bandwidth by 10 and a rig that increased capacity by 10 with the drawback being a reduction of cargo space by 20%.

Dude, why would you want to fit capital tractors to a carrier? Or Dread? maybe a SC or Titan? Rorquals are the only capitals that have any use for a capital Tractor..

Someone needs to explain to me why the hell "buff hybrids" isn't on that list. Easily the weakest weapon class in the game right now and should clearly be the next weapon type to receive a makeover.

Err, its hard to add or even say anything in some of the listed forums when they've been locked due to inactivity. Either they should be deleted or kept unlocked if they are to be listed here, I think.

An idea making it so that copying/invention etc.etc. is done in empire space but based on a pilots standing with either caldari,Amaar/Gallente/Minmatar based on standings from that race using the missions.The more missions and standings go up, the more players "unlock" features and quality of those features.

ROOKIE HELP CHANNEL ( 2 STRICT TEXT FORMAT MODIFIER FOR USERS REQUESTED)
Adding 2 text format modifier buttons, exclusively, (perhaps) for the Rookie Help Channel. Two buttons that strictly modify the text format, for users, that are visually indicative of Question or Answer specific posts made to the rookie help chat window. And all the regular unmodified chat entries remains white and plain.
This would help to stem some of the chat room chaos that is predominant in the Rookie Help channel, which always has thousands of people , it seems.
The result of the chaos is clearly the waste of ISD's time trying to mitigate the anarchy of 3500 Eve rookies all trying to ask questions at the same time. This is coupled and compounded by the IDS's official compulsion to constantly reprimand posters slightly out of touch with chat rules. Which, of late has taken precedence over the amount of actual helpful posts made by ISD's.
The idea was taken with glad acceptance on the Rookie Help channel. Thank you.

Local chat:
Allow splitting people by standings into new windows. It is always annoying to have 1000+ people in local and scroll down while looking for targets.
Mining index: Lower levels raise and upkeep to much reasonable. The current level 4 achievement requires to mine 16(!) hangars (1,4 mil m3 each) of ore and upkeep is not possible for 5-10 miners in local. Not saying about level 5 [;)] The balancing with Military index requirements/revenue would be best(Please keep in mind, nobody is going to mine such amounts of Veldspar for index in 0.0 while they can do it in hisec!).
Exploration system upgrades: Fix it at once please, more than 1 year passed, still broken code there without mini profession sites (should be at least to same profit what each Pirate Detection Array level gives).
Strategic Index: Allow at least 48 hours timer for each level degradation. The current one is broken, drops down straight to level 0 when sov bills are not paid.

A proposal for a new kind of arena based PvP combat.

Looked for about an hour, but most posts about PvP seem to be people talking about balancing conventional PvP. So thought I'd link a very rough idea for bringing PvP to the masses, that enables them to still be a care bear at heart, and for those of us who live out in 0.0 a brief side destraction from time to time. But most importantly a new isk sink for all of us who find it easy to make isk, but have nothing left to spend it on other than cool pvp fittings.

A great idea would be a tool that allows you to "Uninject" a skill. You would not get any SP's back. This would just allow you to remove the clutter of useless skills (mining skill if you are PVP, etc).

All miners know of the Hulk(s) and Orca(s) mining "party", a great item to put in the game would be drones that take the target(s)'s cargo. It would be simple to imcorparate into the game, ex. If a cargo containter is unasseable by a player then a message will come up on the screen that stats the drones can not get into it. This would eleminate the need to put a tractor beam on the Orca and make it easier for the Orca pilot to get the ore from the Hulk's jetcan.

I think the skill are take too long to learn what for lvl 4 5day on some and to get lvl 5 14 to 18days that take a alot of time hell it take a mouth to get a lvl 5 skill and how many skills out there over 300 skills come give us a break do some thing it takes 2 to 3 mouths to get in a hulk and that with out implants. it will take me to learn all skill 70years at they way it is i will be done with befor i am 70 i be an old man.

hello
"Player Made Ship Skins" caught my atention, the post was closed however i liked to add a comment to the post on how to let clients still be able to add a custome made patern on there ship without stressing the server by using a limited number of vector shapes (like used in adobe illustrator and flash) atached to the ship and converted to a color map onse downloaded if the user has (personal mode) checked.

Hi....I dont know if im in the right section...but ill go ahead and throw an idea out there and hopefully someone could give me some feedback. I have recently began working on a new backstory for a new race, I have gone as far as creating new ship names, descriptions, weapons, and all sort of other stuff for it, pretty much Im wondering how I could get this idea recognized by a member of CCP or a dev and get some feedback on it
