I'm experiencing problems targeting the concord billboard. I can't left or right click it to view anything, target it, etc.. Its like its not there (although it glows at me and always shows some criminal's sneering face). Any info would be helpful.

That's a general client bug. The Windows client has the same issue. Basically the CONCORD billboards have a very small interface area to click on. ---- FREE Explorer Lead Megalomanic EVE Null-Sec Player Influence Map http://dl1.eve-files.com/media/corp/Veritefw/FWinf |

I thought that it might be something like that, so I sat in front of one for about 4 minutes clicking all areas on it with the same result.

The actual clickable part of a concord billboard is a thin strip at the bottom of the holographic display. You may find it challenging to click on from a distance. This is one of the negative points in going from bulky CRT billboards to slick, high-tech holographic displays. Another one is that billboards no longer shoot you because there's nowhere to mount weapons.

Hmm... I was pretty close to it.. Within a few hundred meters. I couldn't tell, though, because I couldn't select it to get a reading. I remember clicking all around the board in a grid, but will try again in the morning, paying special attention to that thin strip on the bottom of the definitely-not-CRT high tech display panel.
BTW, why not just have a ship-board monitor play the broadcast? Light bulbs in space without an adequate power generation complex are so 1900's ish. It must cost a fortune in bulbs and maintenance robot hours to keep that colossal thing going.

Well you're floating in a pod hooked up to your ship's systems through various high-tech mental links and at least one tube in an orifice. A monitor probably wouldn't do you much good in that situation. And billboards don't use light-bulbs, they use lasers. Everything is better with a laser. "Laser Billboard" > "Billboard". Of course we could go the whole hog and add every awesome prefix and suffix available to increase the awesomeness of the billboards, but it was deemed that "Kung-Fu Laser BillboardTron 5000" would cause too many localisation headaches.
On a more serious note, I've just tried this out on the Windows client and it does not appear to be as sensitive as I was led to believe. At least from about 32km away I was able to select it and have my overview's "Selected Item" display change. The sweet spot appears to be a little bit below the the middle of the holographic display and over the 'bulge' in the middle of the projector boom. The closer you are the more divergent these two spots become so it gets harder to select them.

Explains why I can't select it.. It's a freakin laser. I mean... who can click on a laser?
I'll look for that "sweet spot". Never had the issue before I went to the dark side and bought the iMac..
