Would it be possible to have a server status monitor on http://myeve.eve-online.com? Nothing fancy just a simple text box or something with current server status and users online?
Maybe even have urgent news and updates?

While eve-i.com do a great job, especially as they are independent of CCP there is one problem...
whenever people are trying to find out why they cannot connect they go to eve-i.com, which has the effect of making the site so unresponsive that it's impossible to get the server status.
Perhaps CCP could provide a similar tool on their site, I expect they have a similar thing in-house.

Eve-I.com is switching to more powerful servers...again...to reduce the chances of that happening. Hopefully it will work for them cause that site has so many good tools on it.

What Gantor said. (it is kinda funny watching eve-i have a clusterf*** soon as the server goes down but I dont think they like it much)
As for the server status monitor thats all fine and dandy, there are multiple ways to use third party software to do this, what I asked was "Can we have a Server Monitor on this site?".
