Have you ever had a great run of kills with a single ship? I.e that Ranis that took down 15 inties without loss, or the Geddon that lasted for 30 fleet fights...
Please include:
Ship Type Ship Name Most Kills Best Kill Died to (how did the ship die or is it still active)

Cerberus 608 Kills No best kill (though this was funny) Is still alive
Really, just don't get tackled and blow stuff up which is pretty easy seeing as you can hit from 250km

Sounds like a great run of ship kills, care to give us a battle report or fraps of this awesome action?

Used the Rifter on many previous characters and it has to be one of the best, most fun ships to fight in. Don't have killboard links or stats though as I have used them on a range of characters over the years. . Navigator Killed my sig |

Question is really situational in nature. As a member of a fleet, someone might be able to keep a specific ship alive for many battles. If solo, well... they don't last very long (or I'm not very good at it).
But... very well. Going off memory since I cannot be arsed to check BC dates.
Rifter, (solo-fighting in Amamake area) "Devil's Due"
IIRC, lasted almost two weeks. Pretty nice streak of luck for a frigate in that area. Killed many Rifters, Claws, a Crow, a Tristan, a Harpy, and other frigate craft.
Not really a 'best kill'... they were all fun fights. Was luring an Incursus out and turned out he had buddies in a Griffin and Rifter. But they were younger characters. Managed to kill the Griffin and Incursus IIRC, but the last Rifter got away. Was a fun fight.
Died to a blob. It was either Heretics or some other blobby entity. Hard to remember.
The ship I carted around the longest was my first battleship; a Typhoon named Sledgehammer. Bought it to go out to the Drone Regions with Eve University, and was no where near skilled for it. The Drone rats used to eat me alive and I warped out in structure more times than I could count. When Uni lost their space, I almost destructed it, but decided to see if I could make it back to Empire solo. I did.
When I learned to run level 4 missions, Sledgehammer was there, and narrowly avoided destruction on many occasions.
In BRUCE in Syndicate, I used Sledgehammer numerous times, and the damn ship always made it home. By that time I'd started being more careful of it, trying to see how long I could keep her alive.
Sledgehammer died on the night BRUCE left Syndicate. As the fleet in PC9 warped to the gate to join the main force, MC unveiled their newest titan. Lost the ship, but got to see a titan DD for the first time. Was awful bright, and wish I'd brought sunglasses.
All in all, I believe my first battleship lived from Jan 2007 until somewhere in 2008 (whatever the date BRUCE secured a foothold in Fountain). Not too shabby.

No 'best kill' really stands out, but I will link the most failfit Vexor I've ever seen if you want something interesting to look at.

I'd like to know how he got a mid-slot salvager. --- The Gate: Lol, try targeting me in a fleet fight. The Station: No U. |

Because our KB admins are like CCP - they never get around to fixing minor bugs like thinking salvagers are midslot items. Don't even get me started on Balmer Series Tracking Disruptors. And make that 115 kills :)

My Vexor has been around for three years. Admittedly I don't PVP much (though I'de like to), but I have traveled through lowsec and 0.0 a lot in it. Do I win a prize?
My sig was fail, but now it isn't.

Theres someone rolling around in a Battle Rorqual.
Think I saw over 100 kills by it. Some damned impressive kills. Him vs multiple other ships, his Rorqual vs a PVP Kronos and so on.
I love seeing industrial ships kick ass vs pvpers... and against multiple hostile PVPers to boot.

May I enquire as to the Celestis fit? I like unlikely pvp ships.
The story about the Sledgehammer was good.
I have a Thrasher with 80+ kills but that it's still alive is more to do with the fact (a) most of the targets are pods* (b) I have trained Run Away Like A Little Girl V.
*Which CAN deliver a nasty blow to the nuts@ck if you don't defend yourself

Dude, now I am curious about the fit of that rabid Celestis...
I suspect you get that many kills because people when they see such a fail ship, but then they when they are owned. Bellicose and Moa works nicely for this as well.

i had a geddon that got "ganked" four times traveling through low sec. Once by 3 brutix's and two drakes and the other four times by a group of drakes. It survived them all and had 9 kills to its name throughout it. Also managed to solo a (lol faction laser fit) Macherial. Then it got *****slapped by a rattlesnake. Happy days for the money.

Originally by: Arec Bardwin Dude, now I am curious about the fit of that rabid Celestis...
Pretty simple, really.
Celestis, Ascended Lolfit HIGH: 3x Light Neutron Blaster II (for stations) or 150mm Railgun II (for gates) 'Malkuth' Assault Missile Launcher I MID: 10MN Microwarpdrive I Warp Disruptor II 3x Sensor Booster II (Scan Resolution) LOW: Damage Control II 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II DRONE: 8x Warrior II
Great gate tackler for gagns, and makes a really good solo frig shooter, especially at stations. By the time they figure out that no, they can't just run past you, they're dead already. The plate + EANM + DC2 give it some staying power under sentry fire, not a lot but enough.
OK, I did dig up some decent kills with it, to keep up with the OP..

I really haven't flown the damn thing since the NFS nerf. I hear they are still useful, but I just can't stomach losing my entire tanking ability to a module that costs less than 2 mill.

my sniper abaddon "the Argos" has been in action since end of 2006. it has been thru alot, it saw the start of the bob/goon war and been thru several titan battles, nearly escaping in hull many times.
i have no idea how many kills i got whit it, many many macro haulers it has been. maybe 200-350 good kills, another 300-500 maco haulers. (the surge of ingunn)
best solo kill i think was some BC i 2 volleyd at close range whit gleam before he could warp, (no warp scram)
ship is still active, but i rarely use it nowdays since the agillity buff has made solo sniping difficult.
