Something ive always had beef with.
Reading the thread about shield extender/armor plate balancing resurfaced my anguish with the fitting of these mods on logistic ships.
Logisitics ship have TINY sig radius, its what helps them keep alive. Without their miniscule sig it'll get wtfpwned by anything cruiser sized down.
So why is it that Shimitar's/Basilisk's get shafted when it comes round to giving them some buffer?? Fitting 1LSE increases the sig by far too much. Get rid of the sig penalty for LSE!!

Don't fit an LSE.
If I'm going to fit a mid slot module, I'd run an invul field. Most of the time however, I'll just fit a damage control in the lows and an MWD/AB in the mid slots. Stay as far away as you can from the fight, keep your transversal up, and duck out at the first sign of serious fire coming your way.

Afterburner + Speed Mods and range keeps them alive, just watch out for Apocs.
Logistics cruiser is the only ship I still use Snakes in.

Fair enough. Maybe i should be alittle more specific to what im actually using them for though.
2 Logistic ships are gods at PVE (Exploration). You just send them in first and get them to rep each other, then send in ure bs's to wtfbbq the spawns. With the insane sig and res combo, u can do anything thats thrown at you. Unfortuantley this is true for armor logisitc ships alot more than it is for shield logisitcs.
I just want to have a decent buffer on my PVE logistic duo without losing its sweet low sig. This means i can stuff the lows with damage mods till my hearts content..... guess ill just have to keep being careful with the raven.

Your armor logistics will be slower due to the plates when ab'ing/mwd'ing. Bit of sig radius increase is imo definately worth it for large extender, scimi is fine (allthough it likes a bit more PG).

Basilisk / Scimi need an LSE and perhaps an invul for buffer reasons - in a fleet you need a few secs to get a lock on and buffer gives you that, otherwise an apoc or zealot can nearly instapop them (very little ehp..)

Scimitar with one LSE and an invulnerability field still ends up with a 90m sig radius (destroyer sized) and a buffer tank similar or better to that of a normal buffered gang setup HAC. I don't see where's the problem. ______
