Hi guys thought i would put an idea or two forward of how the game could be improved.....might be interesting to hear your comments, also add your own?????
1. five (or ten) minute delay to local in 0.0
2. Have rigs that can add a high/med/low slot, although give them say 250 calibration fitting so you cant use more than one (also ensure you cant have more than 8 slots in any area)
3. encourage small gang pvp - not sure bout this, maybe add weighting to kills, so kills made in a small gang are weighted better (worth more) than kills made in fleets, meaning it looks better on a killboard?, showing you actually worked for the kills rather than being mr blob-tastic.
4. make ecm not chance based, also more skill based.....basically make it so ecm can either jam your ship or it cant, ie: you set your ship up with normal sensor strength, or boosted sensor strength,the ecm ship depending on how its fitted can jam a ship up to X sensor strength, if you have managed to outfit your ship with more sensor strength than they ecm guy has brought, your quids in, if u haven't...unlucky. (basically meaning only very highly skilled ecm pilots can jam every ship, as they are able to fit ships that will be able to jam high sensor strength ships, also meaning alt pilots with no skills wont be able to perma jam everything that moves when he hasnt put the sp time in)

What do you mean by five or ten minute delay in local? What, I type something and no one see's it for 10 minutes? Conversations would be a *****. Or I don't don't up on local radar for 10 minutes even if I was in the system for 10 seconds? You may as well have it or don't.

i mean delay in 0.0.......i dont see anythin wrong with that.
also.....should have a skill to increase sensor strength, similar to the fact u can increase most other ship stats with skills.

Not a good idea. Means that if you're jammed, you just sit there unable to do anything for as long as it takes for the opposition to destroy you, making the ECM ships into a "Win button"

I think this is the way it originally worked. But it was bad, so they changed it.

I helped to the beta test thing for revelations. Those rigs do exist, but severely unbalance a lot of ships. *coughdrakemyrmidonravencough* And they required 400 callibration

Low sec ftw? its not that hard to get a few guys to go to some low sec systems for pvp.

It used to be skill based, as a result falcon, kitsune etc. were able to perma jam ships. also NO, nerf falcons!

5 minute delay would just mean no warning for ratters but would still tell the roamers if there was anyone to kill.
