Adblock.... 
It only blocks specified links or stuff that's foolishly named add, ad, advertisement, adserver, adimage etc.
If you just name an advertisement (image, script, FTP folder whatever) to something inconspicuous like 'waterdrop' or 'carebear' "adblock" will simply display the ad.

Combine it with a decent adblocking hosts file and jobs done, ads what are those >.>
