So what do you do when a spy joins your alliance and proceeds to post pictures of severed heads on your forums?
This is what some people on the other side of the wire believe is funny or enhances their enjoyment of a video game.
I dont know which alliance has members that feel this a funny thing to do but im sure as hell glad that they are a spy in my alliance and not someone that the majority of us have actually chosen to spend large amounts of time with.

Kick him from your alliance, kick him from the forums, get the forum admin to scan through and delete anything he posted. Then ignore him and move on.

Shrug a bit, ban him and any discernable alts from the forum, kick him and his alts from the alliance, and just move on.

see thats really easy to avoid. When you do a recruit interview you ask them if they know what 4chan is, anyone who doesnt answer with "no idea" wont get recruited.

I'd be happy the spy didn't sell all my secrets, loot the hangars, and possibly disband the alliance. But I'm old fashion and still remember a day when spies actually did things...well...spiee, spieish, spyish, spyee...anyways. Thats the problem with spies now a-days. No "how do I bring down this government/agency/corporation/alliance", just "hehe, I posted funny stuff!".
I think it all went down hill when instead of infiltrating places, spies started dressing in all white or all black and trying to kill each other in overly elaborate ways (of course they always had to kill the spy of the opposite color, which seemed a tiny bit racist). Not very spyish (I'll go with that one), I say!

You might also try not resetting standings with no warning... that might be the cause of this

Edit: I mean, that someone would waste a spy for something like that! It's far more likely just to be someone who wants to leave your corp with a bang or something.

Join a corp called big chubby, and severed head photos are the least of your worries (I'm suprised were not all made to fly phobos). >_<

I doubt there are enough people that could honestly answer "no idea" to make a viable corp let alone alliance.

Seems an awful lot of people are suffering from a bad case of internet tough guy... aka anonymity. "YAHYAH ITS REAL FUNNY COZ ITS NOT ME"
These things can be accepted in places like rotten.com etc, where choice is a factor, but targeting people personally, posting **** like this on peoples forums, making threatening phonecalls over a GAME is verging on psychotic.
If someone like this was on my case i'd be a little worried tbh.
Also, just out of interest, whoever made the phonecall threatening someone and/or their family... did you honestly not feel like a total ****** adding the words "unless you disband the alliance" to the end of it? i mean seriously... come on...
"i'm gonna come do such and such to whoever, because you're making my gaming life difficult... so you better disband the alliance, or we'l come get you."

I'm ex-scorched, i left because i wasn't happy with the reset among other reasons, but i also know that el had no choice. You honestly believe that if scorched gave tcf advanced warning about the reset, that tcf would just move out? LOL no. From a military standpoint, there was no choice but to remove any chance they had of coming back and removing us the same way they did to aggro. They left us no choice when they refused to help, and refused us ANY of the money moons in the area to rebuild our capfleet etc. Believe what you will, like i said, i wasn't happy with it EVEN after all that.
Psych warfare is one thing, its usefull when outmanned/outgunned... but if you so-called elite pvp alliances can steamroll scorched, why bother with **** like this? Quit *****ing around with pictures and anonymity and let your guns do the talking.
