This is a public notice to let everyone know about the EBANK server move. I am copying the News article from www.eve-bank.net as we believe DT Friday our servers will begin moving to the new location.

Dear Customers,
Over the last 2 years, EBANK has, thanks to you, grown into a beast that we never thought was possible. When we decided on our web-hosting, we decided that a SQL Server with 250mb space was going to be more than enough.
As it turns out, the activity-level of EBANK customers is so high, that the fact that we log all transactions and activity in order to monitor the state of the bank, means that our current database has outgrown our current hosting provider.
We have also recently had a lot of downtime, as a result of our hosting provider not being able to handle EBANK's huge data load and there has been a lot of incidents, which has caused downtime. EBANK aims to provide the best experience possible, therefor we are going the extra mile to ensure you the best experience managing your funds using our web-interface.
We are moving our servers from the US to a hosting center in Manchester. We have also made sure that the database will be backed up to an off-site location on the fly, to ensure that the unlikely scenario of the data-center blowing up, will NOT affect the operation of EBANK.
Another very important announcement at this time is the security of EBANK. We realize that people use EBANK on non-secure connections. It has been a long time coming, but with the move to our new datacenter, we are buying a SSL Certificate to ensure the maximum security for our customers.
The development team are underways with a review of the security of the EBANK backend. This is work in progress, but the security of the site is important to ensure the integrity of our database.
This means that Friday the 17th, we will have a 24 hour downtime. We hope that by Saturday, everything will be business as usual. However be advised that the DNS records might take an extra 24 hours to update.
This is all for now.
Best Regards LaVista

Grats and good luck with the move.
Nothing more nerve wracking than the flip of a service switch when moving providers. |

The Forums and HeldDesk should remain unaffected in the initial stage of the move, however the email submission of tickets should not be used for the next 48 hours. Please use the webform @ http://support.eve-bank.net to submit your ticket. --------

The site is back up now.
We are still waiting for a new block of IPs to be assigned to the datacenter to allow for the SSL certificate to work. The ETA for this to take place is monday evening, where we hope to have all connections done over SSL.
