Edited by: Logit Probit on 17/07/2009 00:29:02 Moral of story: don't get in between carebears and their mission loot; sometimes, they explode their marauders at you, spraying deadly faction mods and T2 salvage all over your cargo hold. The horror!

Killmails on their own are very dry. Much more expensive stuff gets blown up daily. Most killmails posted on here are very dull.
What makes a good thread is a story. Paint us a picture that will entertain. You've done it before Logit, I hope that you're not just getting lazy.

I thought about naming this post "A Tale of Two Marauders", but I had a hard time thinking of how I could relate these kills to a story of spiritual redemption set against the backdrop of revolutionary France.

Even a half assed attempt would have been better than just posting killmails....

...and as Lana marched Logit towards the guillotine, he reflected on what he had done, and the consequences that were now unfolding. Perhaps the carebears, freed from the prisons that were their marauders, would quit EvE and fulfill the real-life promise that Logit himself had squandered. Perhaps the mob of griefers and the bad posters that surrounded the execution platform, bearing witness to the repercussions of his own griefing and bad posting, would also learn from his mistakes. As Lana lowered his head into place below the blade, he thought to himself:
"It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to, than I have ever known."
THE END

Topic title is misleading. I expected to see people ejecting from their marauders.

Any tips on angering people enough to attack you? Smack-talk specific targets, or just go from target to target as fast as possible, or what?
Ninja salvaged for 2 days straight once, nobody ever attacked me.

See, now you're thinking. Run with it.
Personally, I like "To Kill A Marauder". Upstanding and moral anti-pirate defends a ninja wrongly accused of salvaging by a carebear.

Our renovated consciousness does not permit us to look upon marauders as the center of universal life. The suffering of a marauder is of the same interest to us as the suffering of an electric lamp, which, with spasmodic starts, shrieks out the most heartrending expressions of color. The harmony of the lines and folds of modern capsules works upon our sensitiveness with the same emotional and symbolical power as did the nude upon the sensitiveness of the old masters.
I tip my hat.

I couldn't think of a way of getting a marauder in that quote like the cool kids have been doing, so I just put it out there raw.
