So whats the deal with that alliance? I haven't heard almost anything about them in my one and a half years playing Eve but they always seemed to hold SOV in that small area in Scalding Pass. They getting shot at? Yo Ray! |

When D2 collapsed, it spawned 3 alliances (though one, Evoke, split before the collapse). Kraftwerk is one of them. I believe Mostly Harmless is the other.

yeah, there were 5 major corps in D2, of which 3 went to MH 1 to Evoke and 1 to kraftwerk. Of those 5 corps, 1 is in Razor (x-trading) 1 is in evoke 1 is in MH (3-i) 1 is in Kraftwerk 1 exploded (I'm fairly sure Omega is dead)

It looks like someone wants their space, but I have not seen anything posted about the sov changes in their space lately.

Wasn't Cataclysm Enterprises there until the end too? I believe they are in Huzzah now.

Kraftwerk was founded by Cataclysm Enterprises.
After the Corp left D2 and founded their own Alliance we began an assault on Ethereal Dawn in the Drone Regions. The attack was initially successful on the first weekend, but problems of diplomatic nature occured. Ethereal Dawn was paying Goons for protection in the Drone Regions and we were threatened to be largely outnumbered by the Drone Region Alliances and the Goons at the same time.
Because of the Situation and we did not want to help BoB and their Pets indirectly by attacking Goons, a deal was made. KW got single Constellation in Scalding Pass where the Goons were not interested in and KW got a Homespace for Supercap Contruction and Deployment. The Constellation was settled and in the following weeks fortified to Sov 4.
Many of Members of KW and Corps and Alliances who helped, were becoming even more unhappy with the place as a Minor Alliance allied with Goons and left the Corp. Also a Campaign were hit ISS was not as successful as we hoped, mostly because the Alliance Leadership was already divided and members refused to participiate.
I was mostly inactive during the Time CE left KW. The Alliance was taken over by Corps who just joined and I do not know anything about the following events with KW.

You guys are forgetting Black Lance, who's departure set the pace for the entire disintegration of D2 well before MC rolled in.

lol, i agree that kw make best she can with this situation and they spamm pos-es (at start they try with deathstars, but as cow use dreads, so they start to use ~20 hardner ****stars - even with dreads take time to rf those) and boring war (no way don't give cow a fight, then they get bored and leave) strategy works pretty well!
but: as goons try to forget that only reason they win was traitor in bob (they lost sov) - so remember that in the end those was pl/goons who fight kw fight(s) - and we take our tower down in az3f so you guy's was able to take station back etc...
but don't understand wrong, kw make good job (and they say that they are carebears :P)

Big thanks. But then you are outblobed you use any advantage you have. So we used our sov4. And PL came like twice and goons once. Yet it was crusial moments. I'd say they evened chances :) You could still kill us with sub caps, having number superiority, but seams you lacked determination for such crappy space. Turned out even we dont want that space :D And spining ship inside station would bleed our most resistent pvpers. So we all left.

TBH Black Lance was a joke. ATM they didn't fly caps and only flew tech 1 crap. D2 really died due to the fact that thier whole alliance made thier money in one way. It was the vast collection of Tech II BPOS. Once Invention came out D2 couldn't keep up with the isk gernation of other big time alliances. They didn't have the skill that other alliances but one thing that helped they was making 20 to 30 billion a day on the TRUST Website. Once invention came out that was the end of D2. Then MC came into the picture and steam rolled us. Also mabye even a bigger problem was that most EVoke members didn't want to fly under SIr Mumm at the time and he was the only one willing to put the time into it. So we lost three good corps to Evoke which was 40% of our Capital Fleet. In my eyes that was the end of D2

I understood it slightly differently. Yeah D2 was an alliance that got a lot of income from T2 bpos, but yet at the same time, basically controlled Fade, part of deklin, branch and venal. Now, thats quite a few moons. D2 also had a good capital fleet if I recall correctly. The problem is, the 3 groups of people that actually did pvp in D2 left before bob even invaded. (enj Rising, the Evoke guys, and black lance). The problem that killed D2 was completely internal, and if I recall correctly, it was the CE guys having a major disagreement with the 3-i x-t oe guys. D2 could have easily taken back branch after razor took back tenal, but they were just gone because of the fail cascade

I recall in the last days where D2 were defending Branch, we attempted to stop MC+friends from sieging a system and had a good fleet, but in the end we didn't do anything because our caps were outnumbered. By then we were significantly demoralized anyways. --------------

Even the Moons weren't shared equal between the Corps. The big rich ex G Corps and some Industrial Corps got mostly all of the rich Moons where the rest was left with Mining. So Corps like us and some others had to mine as hell to keep Pvping. Then the Evoke and KW Corps left D¦ and left the poor ones with the industrials alone for defending against MC. And now those backstabbers come back after 2 Years and attack us now :P. I remember there words, "we dont want pos/sov warfare anymore", and look where they are now :D. But nvm, its eve

Edited by: Deviana Sevidon on 30/07/2009 12:07:35 Cataclysm Enterprises was still there until the Day the main Systems in Branch fell.
I also remember only the Corps who later left to form Evoke and KW defended Fade while the Industrial Corps were still happy in Branch counting ISK and selling their enemies the Caps that were used to kill D2.
It was not that Invention which killed D2 but a Leadership that was more often working against each other then working together, Arrogance from the old G-Corps and Greed from the Trust Corps and the fact that BoB even managed to bring a Spy-Corp into D2.
In the end every party involved has to take a share of the blame and Decadence is certainly not innocent in the affair.

I'd love to be in Zenith Affinity with a T2 Manticore blueprint... I'd make a absolute fortune... CoW never got a decent fight out of KW, just f*ggots in Stealth Bombers...
And Zenith will never have a problem with Sov, KW are expert POS Spammers...
PL though... They're decent hot-droppers...

... CoW never got a decent fight out of KW, CoW needs a 100:1 ratio before we commit to a fight
