Nice to see you guys getting in to black ops just before they are about to get a boost. Well done!

Killboard.
How many black op battleships does your fleet have by the way, just out of curiousity.

Plenty of good pilots and corporations have originated from crappy backgrounds.
Good luck with your contract.

We have 3-5 black ops battleships.
Killboard.
Note that that KB is just for kills S-F itself has got on, as of yet there are no multi-corp killboards. Feel free to make fun of our new pilots losing cruisers by the bucketload.
Thanks,

The few kills you have all seem to be piggy backing on regular atlas etc gate camps, where is this black op aspect you're advertising?
Not to mention the ratio, you say your objective is to harm enemy moral, yet you seem to be quite the moral booster.

Not piggybacking, they're in the area as well. Atlas doesn't normally gatecamp Oasa just in case you didn't know.
I suppose from a certain standpoint we ARE boosting their morale as they told us openly in local that they were very "PVP starved" and I guess we're giving that to them. We've lost a few ships due to fluke/stupidity but our pilots, some of which are only a few weeks old, are learning and getting better. That's what matters. Also, our client is quite happy with us at the moment, so that's important too.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that we only really deployed yesterday. Proud to be shaych |

And when will you be deploying ships that can cloak?
I'm so eager to see how you'll use your famed black op fleet, haven't seen any black op battleships on your kb yet though.

Edited by: Taram Caldar on 09/08/2009 22:41:32 So far from what I can see from the KB stats you guys really aren't anything special. And calling yourselves blackops specialists when you have yet to field cloaky ships just kinda seems odd to me.
TBH people are better off hiring a more established merc outfit that does 0.0 work than you guys right now. I don't see anything that inspires much confidence in your abilities.
Don't get me wrong, I wish you well in the merc business. But I have to agree that after a couple weeks of this now you still have yet to show any concrete evidence that you have any ability to do what you claim you can. The rhetoric is getting old. Either you can do what you advertise that you can do... or you can't.

They do, learn to use a KB Here's a snip of their total stats since they started using their KB: Kills:17HQ:Sobaseki VII - Caldari Navy Logistic Support Losses:35Members:25
Isk wise I think their efficiency is listed at 56% or some-such.
Just click on the 'stats' link at the top... or go to the losses page once you click on 'stats' and you'll see all their losses.

We do post our losses, and even if we didn't, if ANYONE posted them on any eve-kill.net board, it would show up. I believe we have a 60% or so efficiency, although for some reason it varies between campaign and "stats."
Most of our numerical losses came from an op where a bunch of our newer players got together in badly-fitted cruisers while no FCs were in fleet and got defeated by a pair of experienced players . That kind of action has been fixed.

You mean this? Apart from it being absolutely hilarious, only four people died.
Also, your killboard hurts to look at and you should at least pay for it if you're going to be mercenaries. ===

GL Stealthfield!
IMHO, references will be more telling than kb epeen waving & references will come after a few contracts.
Thing about successful black ops is they're not always about killing, but denying and disrupting enemy operations. 1x red in a system can make miners, haulers, ratters flee to the safety of a pos or station. A gang of reds may shut down a system or make enemy FC's divert assets to deal with the threat. That can be more useful than getting a few easy kills.

And to achieve this you have to kill stuff and not just lose ships like a chump, the only times you guys seem to use your "black op" aka stealth bomber gang, is against defenceless towers, in most other cases you're using low grade ship gangs with crappy cruisers and one or two stealth bombers.
And Lana, thats not good enough, you can flame better, your mother just lost her daily ration of rice and your dads taking a double shift in the docking bay.
And YOU get to sleep on the floor.

Not always. Proper black ops don't do fair fights, or e-honour.
Park a cloaked ship in a mining/ratting system, people may be reluctant to mine/rat there because they don't know if they're scouts or afk. Same with fc's forming fleets, assets may need to be diverted to deal with possible threats, stragglers and fueling ops may need more protection. Defenceless towers may need defending, attacks on defenceless towers may be diversions.
It can all be disruptive, and it doesn't always involve kb whoring. Simple stuff like effective scouting or cyno dropping can help fc's great deal, but won't show on kb's.
Time will tell whether it works, once they've got a few contracts under their belts. Either way, I'm sure they'll have fun and wish them the best of luck.

That works until someone calls your bluff and goes ratting in a cheap battlecruiser. Then they tell their friends that it is safe to go ratting/mining. Unless you kill them, you won't achieve much.

Hi, i'm Jonny 101, used to be the head Diplomat of Exalted (aka head smack talker), you remember us? we inspired the tactics this nitwit wants to use when we used them to **** his old alliance back and forth ten times over?
We used guerilla tactics to kill more goons in delve than bob did during the invasion WHILE killing everybody else?
I'm not going to say I have any sort of ****ing clue how black op works, or how you damage morale, it's not as if i've been getting paid to run spy networks and damage enemy morale while getting intel for said guerilla ops or anything for several years now.
Why don't you listen to this newbie with his stealth bomber, no achievements what so ever (apart from getting his alliance ripped to shred by me and mine using the very tactics he's COMPLETELY failing to make use of) rather than me, ye, that's a good idea.
It's not as if I have any expirience with the mercenary community in eve or anything and have some sort of clue as to what merc corps are good and what are ****, and why.
You guys go ahead, and hire these guys who frankly are an insult to good merc corps all over eve.
PS. if any mercenaries declare war on you this weekend Brolo, I promise I didn't send them, because starting wars over comments on the forum, that would be plain vendictive, and i'm not vendictive am I?
Besides, who can afford to waste that sort of isk on such small things.
