Hi. I need help setting up my geddon for 0.0 npc hunting (guristas)
I was thinking something like
highs: 7 Mega Pulse 1 Nos/SB
Meds: 3 Cap rechargers
Lows: 2 kinectic Hardeners 1 Thermal Hardener
But then what else in the lows? 2 t2 medium armor reps or just one large named? cap relays? WCS? damage mods? Plates?
Not really sure what should go in those lows ----------

I strongly advise at least one large (preferably named)and one med tech 2 rep. Also I have run with a webber in one of the med slots putting an extra CPR in the low to compensate. This makes your heavy drones VASTLY more effective against those pesky rat intys. So i would say. 7 Mega pulse 1 med nos
2 capchargers 1 webber
3 hardeners to suit 3CPR or 2CPR 1 dammage mod and 2 reps
Must play EVE while drunk more......

Depends what range the rats your facing tend to come at really. Bloods tend to either stay at 20k or 40k, and 7 megapulse will probably get you killed on anything other than a fairly small spawn.
7x named dual heavy beams 1x L sb
3x cap rechargers
2x Large accom 1x EM/Therm 1x Therm 4x Relays
^^ that kills and tanks anything i have come up against so far, which includes 2x 750k 1x 1.5m + cruisers & inties
Pulse setups do more damage but unless you know the rats your facing come closer, your going to find yourself using ultra/micro crystals :| Or turning your weapons off so that you can tank a larger spawn. 2004.08.22 21:03:00 combat Your Anode Light Neutron Particle Cannon I perfectly strikes callonious [BSC], wrecking for 236.9 damage. |

GenocidalSpliff: You do know that Dual Heavy Beams have lower tracking speed then Mega Pulses??? Im sure you ment Dual Heavy Puls Lasers . They are just abit better then Mega Pulses, but i must say that hitting CR and BS at 20km aint really a problem with Mega Pulses. The problem is those pesky frigats/interceptors.

there are about a thousand threads for this, but i tell you what i use and can run it for ever,
hi* 7mega pulse
med* 3* cap1
low* 2* hardeners for the rats you will be going up against, 1* named large armour rep 1* medium t2 armour rep 4* cpr
and it all runs for ever,

Tested a few setups on a mighty veldspar asteriod to check if I could keep things running and ended up with this

Meds: 3 Cap Recharger 1s (may swap one out for a webber but I am told that a few med drones will sort out and intys but I'll soon find out)

Cap stayed between 45 and 50% running the guns, med t2 rep and hardeners and when I fired the large rep it built back up quite quickly so it should work aslong as I dont have to run the large constant which I shouldn't have to do. Now to go find some beasty bs to kill ----------

No i meant beams, tho pulse work better if you know your not going to be trying to kill things at 40km. That setup i posted can run both reps and all lasers, for alot longer than it will take to kill a 3bs spawn + cruisers. It doesnt have a problem keeping up with 1.5 + 2x 750k bs's + cruisers + inties, even tho the 1.5m bs spews kinetic missiles...
Pulse do work and kill things really fast, but on big spawns you won't last long enough to kill everything without warping out or turning weapons off because of the RoF. (tho i did have a AB fitted when i tried dual heavy pulse)
