You where good opponents. Look forward to locking horns again at some point in the future, or maybe flying along side. It's a funny cluster.
Fly safe. But not so safe that life grows dull.

From what I've seen of the Minnie militia they like to form a 35 man gang made of T1 junk. These blobs get zero fights and only ever get cheap ganks. You are so misinformed/clueless/wrong it's not even funny.
I don't fly in 30 man gank blobs and typically only join fleets if I "know" there is a fight to be had. Meaning gang vs gang fights. I don't join a fleet to go gank some solo frigs or cruisers. When I first joined militia I did it for a bit, but it got boring real fast.
However what I'm pointing out is they were doing nothing different than the blobs they complain about, just on a smaller scale. They were ganking easy targets just like the blobs do.
What I'm saying about the Hac's and so on, is they knew they were flying **** that in most cases out classed the other small gangs in the area. Yet they wonder why they couldn't find any small gangs fight and got bobbed a lot.
Well seems to me the logical answer would be to ship down a bit to get the other small gangs to engage you. Yes you will still get blobbed, this is eve after all.. However I'm quite sure you would also find many more small gangs whom would be willing to engage.
You have to understand that a large amount of people in FW are new players whom simply can't fly Hac's, recons and so on. You can complain and emo quit, because you get blobbed and can't find a fight.. or you can ship down and fight the type of ships that tend to roam the area..

I'm not going to get into the trolls here(a first for me) but here goes with a blunt response.
Firstly, we are not here to serve your pvp interests mutnin. What you can't seem to grasp is that the majority of the time when we formed up gangs there were already reports of a larger minmatar gang rolling around. If you get in the way of this gang while we're maneuvering to get position on this gang then you are just a casualty.
You're trying to solo in and around the busiest systems in the amarr/minmatar front. You shouldn't be suprised to get ganked. It happens to everyone. --------

Well, I was just trying to suggest a way that you could find those "small gang" fights. I'm not telling you to cater to my PVP needs I'm just telling you my opinion on why you don't get fights you say you are looking for.
Your corp is better organized than the average militia small gangs, having that plus the better ships, equals not many whom are going to engage unless they have a large numbers advantage.
Personally though, I was looking forward to the day that I could finally catch swatty in his safe spot and gank him, to return that special favor.

Good luck fellas, it was fun while it lasted. Cant say i am suprised you've decided to try other things given the state of FW.
If you want a 'fun' area of 0.0 to play in at the moment i highly reccomend parts of Catch or Wicked Creek and Curse/GW.

Mutnin, my good friend, parting is such sweet sorrow. I know you had a deep affection for Gunship, not to mention that special place our hearts for you and I.
Thank you for pointing out how lame we are when using better ships and tactics than the Minmatar Militia. We appreciate your wagging finger for not sending our pilots home when there are more of us than our opponents. And thank you for dwelling endlessly on my most grievous fault, using a neutral CovOp pilot to get to safe spots (named Jethro1, just so everyone knows and won't be suprised).
But most of all, I thank you for hi-jacking our departure thread with your honorable greviances.
For all your tireless service to Gunship and me, I offer this video tribute to you [Youtube.com]. It's the very least I can do.

Hey congrats, you finally managed to get a "so called" solo kill on me, I must say it did take you quite some time to finally pull it off. It's just too bad you had to use the neutral alt to do it, and couldn't get it straight up.
I am honored you spent time on me though, too bad you wouldn't have spent the time to fight me straight up T1 cruiser vs cruiser like I offered more than once. It's not like you couldn't easily beat me in a straight up fight, so I never could figure out why you would never accept.

Well i have been too busy to play lately, but this is sad news to me.
I have melted and been melted buy many of you.
I got into many one on one, one on two fights and just general harassment with G-Dip. I even went to Caldari space a few times to look for them when they joined up with them.
Maybe ill follow you to 0.0

ok I'll be nice and stop..
3 hacs and 5 frigs is small gang, maybe even micro gang in eve's scale.

Sry to see you guys go. We didn't fight that often but you did remind me of us (small, tight, young.. oh wait sry emmm talking about my wife there).
I'm worried this may be the start of the withdraw of ammar. As the mini's pick up numbers the amarr will reduce as they are facing a large foe (in a much tighter battle field).
But I hope your future is as good as your past! Fly good and well. Please resize your signature to the maximum file size of 24000 bytes. Zymurgist |

I have to say I agree with Evil there. I don't want to see the Amarr population drop. I'd rather see relatively equal numbers, as too much of an imbalance can disrupt the flow of the game.
Sorry to see you guys go.

Very surprised. You were a quality FW org and I enjoyed your perspective on the matter. I suspect once you get a real good taste of 0.0 blobs, POS warfare, hours looking
You should be actually surprised if you do not see a quality FW corp moving to 0.0.
It's in the order of things that the "evolution" past FW for promising corps is to move to 0.0, expecially if they field 5+ ships at a time (else they could also move to WH PvP). - Auditing and consulting

Edited by: Dhaaka Vincatar on 03/08/2009 16:24:42 You guys kept killing me when I was soloing in my Tristan so I can't really say I am sorry to see you go.
You were helping me to learn how to not fail at PvP, though.
Whether it was 1 Tristan vs 1 Punisher (GF, I barely scratched you but at least I could see what I did wrong)
Or 1 Tristan vs 1 Caracal (God that was stupid on my part).
Or 1 Tristan vs 1 Destroyer and his 2 gangmates in Destroyers who decided he needed help... (A little overkill, don't you think?)
I learned a little bit each time so hopefully by this time next month I will blow up a little less.

I wish the Helljumpers and Gunship the best of luck in Pure Blind. That is a pretty boring region as is most of 0.0 nowadays since about 95% is napped in some way. I hope you find the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.
But don't think that you are going to get away from blobs. You may snag 1 or 2 sloppy pilots in a bubble trap or catch a ratter in a belt, but once your gang gets announced to their nap-intel channel, you better be prepared for a nice blob coming your way. Even worse, a lot of NPC 0.0 have nap agreements. I haven't lived in Pureblind for awhile but i can speak to GW and Curse.
And guess who their primary targets are since they don't fight each other anymore. Neutral corps like yours.
