How to get the bug: - Assemble a ship and activate it. Undock, align to warp and cap goes to 0%.
How to avoid it: - Assemble a ship and activate it. Activate another ship, reactivate new assembled ship. Undock, align to warp and cap is still where it should be.
Just tested and works. ---------------------------------------------

That might be a fix for unpackaging and fitting a ship, but I just got the cap problem last night and I have been in 0.0 without a dock for 2 days. So unpackaging a new ship is not the only cause of this grapical bug (as it seems to be as stated in another thread)
Thanks for your analysis, I am sure it helped a lot of people.

I got anouther fix for the cap bug problem. Get eve into window mode, and compare the ingame clock with your windows clock. Set your windows clock after the eve-ingameclock. In my case this restored my cap to normal. this should be working in station and in space.

Easier method:
Assemble, undock, set warp, cancel warp, re-dock, fit ship, undock.
Voila! Fixed.

Newly assembled ships when undocking should now properly get their full capacitor charge.
This fix is only in Shiva.
Having to synchronise your system time however, is a much more serious bug. -- Richard CCP Programmer. Anything said above is not the official line, but my own take or opinion. |

How is that easier than activating the new ship, activating an old ship and activating the new ship again?
