I should be on the "purchased" list, though I'm not sure how up-to-date the list is.

Sorry about that - I did update the reservation list to reflect your purchase but somehow it seemed not to register the edit, anyhow it is there now. ------------------------------------ CEO, Ihatalo Research and Development Ihatalo Cartel

I understand you have all shares reserved/sold, but this is something that should be addressed. You currently hold 40 billion(if I'm not mistaken) of the community's money, and are doubling that with this offering.

Thats right, no reply to his post.
He stated his reasons behind retracting his bids - They were not questions so therefore I didn't respond to them. However seems as you have now asked I'll respond

The level of outstanding debt in my opinion is offset by the profitability of the business, which has 2 years of accounting and a proven track record.
I can understand that not offering any form of collateral for this expansion could worry people, which is fair enough but there are a number of reasons for that. The last time I provided collateral to secure financing it was sold without my consent and during the loan period, to which I did not become aware of the sales until I had paid off the loan - many months after it occured. Now although I got reimbursed for the sale of the t2 and capital bpo's at their current values, I had still paid 8 months of worth of interest when I didn't have to. There is also the 'dead asset' factor to consider when providing capital. The nature of our business means every single asset we have is put to use in some shape or form. If it isn't then it is liquidated and replaced by something else. I can appreciate that there are people who will put your collateral to use on your behalf but to be quite frank, I haven't met anybody with better accounting or business skills than I (a certain poker service owner does come very close tho ), and I'm unwilling to risk this business' profitability and efficiency this way nor would I pay them for doing it.
That leaves auditing to which I have already agreed to have done, and have had done on many occassions with all projects I am tied to.
Quote: Also, as I understand it, you are just 17 days away from closing one of your other bonds. Can you not wait this short period of time before asking for more money? Just a couple red flags I see.
When the 9.73% bond closes we will be reducing our cahflow by just over 14b ISK.
Now although this in itself is not an issue, the remaining cashflow will be. I have already bought back 5b worth of bonds recently before they were due to expire, a recent war meant a number of assets worth around 4b in total had to be replaced to maintain business efficency. We have also been affected by the recent barbequing of tritanium prices - tritanium being something we have for a long time put capital into because of it's past stability, and up until recently it's growth in value. What this basically means is by the end of this month we will have lost around 25b of working capital. This is by no means a problem, just more of an inconvenience, however it would mean that the expansion plans we have had in the works for the past 4 months would have to be delayed until that capital is replenished. It also effectively writes off 2 aquisitions we have lined up.
One of them can wait, the other could not (it has been aquired now) - hence the urgency.
All said and done we have raised the capital we needed. I can appreciate that in recent times investors are nervous, and rightly so but jump on the other side of the fence and see this from my perspective.
I have proven ability, proven reliability, and transparency and do not run a one man operation unlike the vast majority of investments offered here. I am all for transparency, security of investment and some level of community involvement in public business' however you have got to draw the line somewhere.
In my totally biased opinion (and I'am sure most of our investors would agree) "It should be considered an absolute 'priviledge' to be able to aquire an Ihatalo Cartel investment opportunity and have it managed by the Ihatalo staff." ------------------------------------ CEO, Ihatalo Research and Development Ihatalo Cartel
