According to the ticket list, that isn't true. 1 billion in tickets is 100 tickets.
Here's the list. Note the time stamp on the last entry of the ticket list. It follows this posting and your other posting on the Market Discussion forum by more than 6 hours. I'll try again at the 24 hour mark. I would hate to think that you were misrepresenting yourself or that you were yet another alt posting on Torn's behalf, like Daemonspirit, who seems to care so much about BIG that it is obvious he's with BIG.
BTW, Torn, I noticed that you have actually slightly (and I mean very slightly) increased the rate of ticket purchase since I began posting to this thread. You should thank me. Of course, that doesn't solve the problem. At this rate, 30k tickets won't be sold in the next two years. |

Are you implying that 2 1/2 months is instant gratification? Perhaps for Ents and Elves, but that's a different game.
Had you not fallen prey to the character flaw you find in others, you would have taken a moment to look at the tickets page of their website. You would have seen quite clearly that at the rate of 1 to 5 tickets per day, the lottery will sell out in a few years. I'm afraid that's well outside anyone's definition of a reasonable amount of time.
You would also have read the last few pages of this thread and discovered that I am asking two simple questions. Neither of which involves a demand of specific action. I'll use this opportunity to ask them again: what will BIG do if the lottery doesn't sell out in 6 months? What if it doesn't sell out in 12 months?

As "whatever" as Dumb Jerk may sound to people, he does make one valid arguement thou.
Why does TS make annoucements about " things are being worked on " when TS says he won't change the lotto contract? All in all, this whole lotto does sound like a pretty good scam.
1. 30K tickets will never sell now, only a fool would think it could.
2. TS -> I won't change the contract but things are being worked on.
3. TS replies on any other one of his threads while totally ignoring this thread. ( click on his portrait and check the posts he has made )
4. No end in sight and rumours of the Titan owners having pulled out and one of them already lost. ( no official reply )
At this point, I am inclined to think TS is just dragging it along to scam more dumb asses who actually would buy a ticket or two then one day he will announce " Thank you for all the fish everyone. "
Just my 2cents and no I don't care what your flame or thought is only what TS has to say.

The questions, once again, are:
1. What will BIG do if the lottery doesn't sell out in 6 months?
2. What will BIG do if the lottery doesn't sell out in 12 months?
"Until then sit tight" in no way answers either question. Torn could answer the questions directly and easily: "If the lottery doesn't sell out in 6 months, we'll keep going. If the lottery doesn't sell out in 12 months, we'll keep going." So why doesn't he just say that?
The bottom line is, everyone knows that despite whatever the first page of this thread says, the idea of going on forever is ridiculous. Plain and simple. Does BIG really want to wear a neverending lottery as an albatross around its neck? No. Will they end it at some point? Obviously they're going to have to, if they don't want this thread popping up once a day forever. So why not get on top of this thing now and give people back they're money? |

If this is a scam wouldnt this have an impact on the relationship with CVA? Pirating scamming blah blah blah is against thier policy I thought. Will this corp still be set blue/neut to CVA? I wouldnt think so, but who am I.
Curious factoid and being a scammed amarr citizen I feel thier bennies should not exist in cva anymore.

I have known BIG and TS for a good six years now and I can tell you AGAIN that this in no way is any kind of scam.
This is a service that TS has decided to provide, more than likely from a third party who had requested it of him. This was requested of him because of BIGs and TS's reputation of trustworthiness. That kind of reputation doesn't just fall in your lap because you did a few good deeds and ran a few auctions. That kind of reputation comes from years of hard work and consistent reliable results.
If you could come to realise the time, effort and sacrifice (yes sacrifice as many times BIG has had to fund on their own the lottery prizes of the BIG Lottery)that has gone into THE premium lottery in Eve, you would eat your words and slink away into a dirty corner and beg for forgiveness.
