Edited by: Kessiaan on 07/08/2009 04:02:31 If there's one thing that EvE and WoW have in common, it's that corps (or guilds) that open recruit generally aren't worth joining. And the solution is the same - do a good job and good corps will find you. Personally, I never set out to join Atlas alliance or any other big nullsec entity, I just did FW, got picked up by Microfunks, did a good job there, and ended up out here when we decided FW sucked and we didn't want to do it anymore. I got almost 30 million SPs but almost half of them are in industry.. from the sound of things the OP has more combat skills (SP-wise) than I do, but that really stops counting for much after you pick up the core fitting and gun skills.
Anyway, I wish the op the best of luck wherever he goes. And, of course, can I have your stuff? :D

Clearly missing the point of a Capitalist Country.
Hmm Iran is a Capitalist Country by the way.
As for Skill point requirements, I too had issues with those in the early days, but honestly, you can get around this by specializing in something like Interceptor and learning how to do directional scans to get people in belts.
Good luck and fly safe!

And why would "they" be interested in you anyway ? Even if you HAD 40 mil SP and COULD mine like a m*******er, still, WHY would "they" care about you ? The larger the corp, the less important the "bottom rung" of the corp hierarchy is to the corp itself. If you want appreciation, go join a rather smallish corp, OR make yourself noticed enough so that a more active corp might notice you and maybe even invite you in (very unlikely, but you never know). Or, heck, create your OWN corp, and get some people with EVEN LESS SP/EXPERIENCE, see just how much YOU end up caring for each of them after a while.
I think you're forgetting what a special snowflake he is.

You should train some more skills before quiting and playing WoW again.
Additionally why would they invite you to go on a roam? If there is a roam starting up, go to the regroup location and X up.
And another thing. You only applied to four corps and have come to this descision?
FFS man up and keep trying as there will be one out there just for you though you might have to join SA to get to them.
And why are you getting so hostile?
It's not even like you've trained any support skills either that are necessary to be good in battleships or hacs if you've spent a good 30%-40% of your SP on ship skills... who would want you to come on roams you'd be a friggin liability.

Heck, I'll bite even if it is a troll.
4 corps isn't enough to draw any conclusions considering there are hundreds, if not thousands of corps out there to choose from. The problem seems to be more not having done the proper research for your corp. Also, it's not rare for the first few corps to be a fail-fit. So if that's the case, move on to another.
The 10m SP is a non issue. Either you can fly at least one ship the corp needs or you cant. Usually the SP requirements are an expectation of being able to fly some ship or another.
This is what you need to consider before joining a corp, and after joining to make sure everything goes as advertised.
1. Time zone compatibility. If you join and no one is on when you are, then consider leaving.
2. Goal compatibility. You might be very aggressive then find out the corp has a defensive mindset.
3. Ship compatibility. Will they let you fly the ships you want to fly or do they tell you to stay out of their fleets until you fly something more useful?
4. Everything else.
If your corps suck, then you might want to reconsider your search criteria. --

Seriously though there are good corps out there, but mostly you need to have developed at least some name for yourself or go with a corp that does training (eve university comes to mind). If not maybe eve's just not for you and refer to top of my post.
In conclusion there needs to be mandatory spacing between a post and a sig. ------------------------------

Considering that you apparently don't know much about the game after 11 months of playing, quitting might be the prudent course of action. If you can't get to know the game in that amount of time, you never will.

There are lots and lots of corps out there, all doing different things looking for different people etc, if you don't like what you got move on and look for somewhere that offers what you do like.
The game is really the people you play it with, but you cant expect to change the way other are playing a game then spit your dummy out when they don't.
Find a fun group of people who like doing the same as you do, if there are no people in game that like to do what you do then I guess you may as well quit, but I think if you look a little harder you will be OK.
