As empire corporations have the dire need for more and more rare end minerals, not being provided at a fair price by alliances and factions, I would like to provide a guide to mining in the Great Wildlands region, part of the Curse Alliance territory.
Please be aware, that while in Curse Alliance territory, you may be fired upon by CA members.
The Great Wildlands
The GW area is the closest fertile mining zone to empire. It provides an abundant share of Arkonor, Bistot, and Dark Ochre amongst other rarities often sought out by Empire based corporations.
The key mining system in the GW region is U3K-4A, where an immense amount of belts loaded with high end ore is available to you. The nearest refinery, 4 jumps, is E02-IK, or M-MD3B Thukker owned refineries and factories.
You should expect to find all levels of Angel faction NPCs in the belts including battleships and Domination crews. Please scout the belts in a frigate or pod prior to entering with your mining crew.
It would be ideal as well, to find a safe position in the system where you can anchor a sufficient amount of giant secure containers (giant secure containers can be bougth in Egbinger) for temporary ore storage, and a log-off point. You will find that there is quite a number of spots such as the one mentioned. Do not leave your battleships floating in space, like CA member corporations do in U3K, as they will be found and removed. I'm surprised that there is still a few more ships floating in space.

Besides Curse Alliance/Stronghold pilots need practice targets to keep their weapons systems in tune......................
P.S. Make sure you bring named weapons and MOD's it saves us a trip to buy them.

You know, all I see here is a bunch of CA guys blustering. Perhaps if you were in game keeping Curse space protected rather than blathering about how dangerous it is to go there on the forums, it'd be as bad to go there as you say it is...

Have been and its really weird the only CA I see are either in shuttles or multi warp stab BS.
Its amazing how far in CA space you have to go to find someone other than a CA hunter

Hmmm, SOMEBODY is bitter. Seriously Khal - First off you're not doing us any harm by telling people where we mine. Everyone knows it (Celestial Apoc. has been advertising e02 and the surrounding areas for a long time as a good source of free Arkonor.). Secondly, you're only hurting yourself by making people lose respect for you who still had it after the break off (like myself).

When you come - please fit or bring in cargohold the following:
Named launchers - siege if you can
Named light railguns - some anode neutrons would be appreciated
Named cargo expanders - 21% or better
Named battleship mwd's - quad lif would be nice
T2 Cap rechargers and/or PDS' as they are always useful.
T2 Light railguns - ion or neutron, not electrons please.
If you have spare cargospace please fill it up with mixed BPOs and T2 items.
