Should the gun ever go into sale will it cause kids to run into walls, doors and furniture. --

I think that's why it has a few buttons - the gun works via a head tracker, which only senses rotation. You need to spin on the spot quite a bit, though, and for some people that might be all it takes. --- 34.4:1 mineral compression ISRC Racing, Season 7 - schedule |

Neat concept but the fraction of an inch my wrist has to move to redirect my field of fire 180 degrees > than doing endless pirouettes with that gun. Basically its going to reduce your effectiveness at an fps game not even counting the eventual fatigue factor.

I think it will come with a gun sensitivity setting, so that you only need to move it an inch to do a full 360.

Like the Wii I believe it shows promise to get your ****** out of that chair!
This would be great for servers that only allow players that have these.

Good concept, but I'd hate having to play by looking at that LCD.
If you could get some sort of 180/360degree display/projector screen, then it would be very awesome.

This is the kind of thinking that will make advances in VR more mainstream to the benefit of the general populace. I foresee two types of controls for the future, innovative ones that make you move around or touch stuff in mid air and the second set reserved for dedicated controllers that will involve comatose people plugged in 24 hours to a terminal.
New generation touchscreens and even the ones that use simple light beams interrupted by hand will evolve into the first ...

Take a look at the youtubes of the current console gamer generation. If they ain't fat they smoke or drink or some combination of the three so after 10 minutes of turning about its game over man game over.

Very cool indeed. If they could combine that with those cool glasses that are equivalent to looking at a giant display, I'd be first in line. By first in line, I of course mean I'd be the first to pre-order it and have the courier guy bring it to me -------------
