I've got the same problem with the test server. It worked fine yesterday before the patch, but now it won't let me manual or auto patch (AP doesn't even start.) I tried re downloading the whole test server again and the icon bounces for a second or two then quits.

zzz - Akbal i just posted the same thread in the test sever forum lol - Yeh basically my test server works, but now i can't get into the main sever. Bounces at the bottom for a moment, then doesn't go in.
Also though, atm if you go download i think theirs a new patch for test server, you then have to patch it to an original install - not your singularity one. So basically make another duplicate of your main one (which doesn't work) and add the new patch to that to get sisi. But yeh i got no idea why main doesn't work.

Edited by: Ami Nia on 11/08/2009 09:00:37 I do not know what has happened to you, but I have a "rule of thumb" that has always prevented problems on my side. The rule of thumb is: keep them totally separated from each other (and possibly also from anything default).
Here's what I do: -) my TQ client is not named "EVE Online.app". It can be renamed to "EVE TQ.app". Also I edited the PrefsFolderName entry in the Info.plist to be, for example, "EVE TQ" instead of the default "EVE Online" (see the instructions for installing multiple clients). Whenever I need to reinstall or patch the TQ client, I always check that both have not been changed (patches will generally revert both names). Finally I regularly backup the, now renamed, "EVE TQ Preferences" folder in ~/Library/Preferences -) similarly my SiSi client is named something like "EVE SiSi.app". And I also edited the PrefsFolderName entry in the Info.plist to be, for example, "EVE SiSi" instead of the default "EVE Online". Again whenever I need to reinstall or patch the SiSi client, I always check that both have not been changed and I regularly backup that preferences folder too.
Here's what I think has happened: for some reason the sisi client has ****ed up your preferences folder. Including stuff that was supposedly TQ only.
Make sure the two clients are separated and use different preference folders, then delete all your preference folders. If necessary reinstall the clients.
When you have done this, the TQ client should work. The sisi client may or may not work, but at least it will not jeopardize your TQ game.
Please, spend 1 minute of your time and check this out

<-- Hate my mac.
Cool, any possible way of simply... ah pointing my TQ path to..well TQ? As i don't go on sisi to often, maybe then some code i can change in preferences to simply point one to tq or something rather. Meh, a re-download is most likely.
Thanks for the info btw.

I'm trying to redownload the Singularity client, but it keeps saying "Mounting Failed" before finishing the download. Now I'm trying to download Tranquility and patch it to the TS client.

Now it won't even start as you said, Akbal.I redownloaded Tranquility and it won't open. I even upgraded to 10.5.8 to see if it would fix anything but no luck all. Help, CCP!

Would it not have been nice to have known the truth about a product before you committed to it?
