I'm trying to setup a program that will determine the reprocessed minerals from items from the eve datadump. I know for T1 base items it's the base materials cost in blueprint.
For named items (metalevel > 0 and not T2) it looks like the reprocessed materials are half the base items materials rounded down. Is this correct? I can't seem to find any info on this
Also a question about T2 reprocessing, I get from this Thread how to calculate the amount of minirals returns but are the T2 components returned too? When I go to reprocess a T2 module in eve the quote only shows me getting the minerals back, not the T2 components.
Thanks.

The answers are all in the thread you linked.

Not exactly, according to the thread if I reprocess(with perfect yield), for example, a 125mm 'scout' I Accelerator Cannon i should get: Isogen 2 Mexallon 93 Pyerite 426 Tritanium 1180
By looking up the base minieral cost of the base item.
But in eve I actually get: Isogen 1 Mexallon 46 Pyerite 213 Tritanium 590
Why is it halved?
For T2 items if I reprocess a Mackinaw I get Construcion Blocks 50 Ion Thruster 75 Magnetometric Sensor Cluster100 Photon Microprocessor 125 Crystalline Carbonide Armor Plate60 Fusion Reactor Unit 60 Oscillator Capacitor Unit125 Pulse Shield Emitter 125 plus the minierals
Exactly as predicted by the sql in the thread
but if I do the same for say a Hammerhead II drone the sql predicts I should get: Guidance System2 Robotics2 Particle Accelerator Unit1
but in eve all I get is the minerals back. Where are the trade goods, and T2 components?

Think you'll find they are consumed in construction and that why you don't get them back. -- Finds camping stations from the inside much easier. Designer of Yapeal for Eve API.

You are using the wrong SQL from that thread, i.e. the one for manufacturing. For reprocessing you have to look at activityID 6 of the item (not the blueprint). Also what Dragonaire said. Take a look at EVETycoon btw if you have not found it yet, it's a tool to get reprocessing information for all items.

Thank you it now makes sense, what CPP Explorer was saying was that you had to calculate the reprocessed values FROM the blueprint.
I had read something about activityID = 6, but all the examples where linking on the but when you look at the ramActivites table it says activity 6 is Duplicating, I guess that table is wrong then.

There's a non-published "Duplicating" skill in the datadump, I think that's where the name comes from and what it was originally intended for. Works for reprocessing though. Btw the official dump does not have all reprocessing and no refining information, use the unofficial one for that (sticky).
