I live in Brooklyn and work in lower Manhattan, so I'm rarely anywhere even near Penn Station. As luck would have it, I had nothing to read so I wander into a bookstore and, lo and behold, there, in a bookstore the center of insanely busy Penn Station are beautiful new copies of Eve The Empyrean Age by Tony Gonzalez!
Needless to say I snapped one up and started reading it. Loving it so far! Postworthy? Maybe not, but as I have no rl friends or family that play Eve, I just wanted to share my joy with those who could understand. He put... creatures... in our bodies... to control our minds. He made us... say lies... do things. |

When i spotted my copy in a shop for the first time since it had been released (was 2-3 months after release) i spent the remainders of the cash i had on me that day on it. Now for those in scotland who may appreciate this, I live near Livingston and i bought the book in Edinburgh (Forbiddenplanet Ftw). That was a long walk home _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

Got mine from Amazon as I rarely leave my basement. Tbh, never seen it in a book store which is surprising as would have expected to see it in Waterstone's.

I respectfully disagree. Scotlad does sell books. Glasgow on its own however... _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

Living in Scotland as I do I Amazon'd it and read it when it first came out. Have to say that the book grew on me. At the outset I was prepared to be disappointed but the author seemd to gain in self belief as it progressed. In the end I would say it added to my enjoyment of the EVE universe and brought me back to the game after a brief hiatus.

Ah touchT, I shall remember to use the correct locations next time!
We've actually got quite a few copies of the Emp Age stacked in one of the Cardiff book shops, and i'm going to pre-order the up-coming one.
