I'm unsure as to whether this is an exploit or not (system should be changed if not).
About 4 of us were on a gate about 5 minutes ago. A player of a certain nationality logged off after immediately jumping through. He was unlockable, and he warped off. He then logged on again, and logged off to stop himself from warping to the spot he logged off at.
Since he was invulnerable to lock (12:45:00 Notify Interference from the warp *** *****'s Drake is preventing your sensors from getting a target lock on them.), there was no aggression timer, and we couldn't scan him out. Even if we had, he would've lasted only a minute before disappearing.
So, is this an exploit? Seems like a pretty large one to me :/. A ship should always return to the point it logged off at originally. ---

We recently had a freighter tackled at it's emergency warpout landing point (where it goes after it warps) and waited 32 hours for it to log back in.
When it did, it was not at the original spot it disappeared at.
I was livid.

it's not an exploit, even when a large part of the playerbase feels it this.
TBH it's quite old maybe 2 or 3 years old also know as logoffsky
And yes Russians used to be extremely adept at it, or they used to.. next? -------------------------------------- You know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I go get and beat you with 'til you understand who's in ruttin' command here. |

I thought logging off to avoid death was simply "Logoffski". I didn't think cycling online/offline to not return to your point of origin was... ---

Couldn`t find any older dead horse to beat on? If you are going to whine do it like everyone else and let it be about DUST 514. Nobody cares about your Logofski problems.

It should be an exploit (rather, CCP should just fix it) but obviously it isn't. Whole thing makes moving your freighter about low-sec pretty safe even without a scout.
