When are we gonna be walking around stations,at the beginning of the year ccp said
it would be end of 2009,or is this just plain old bullsh*t to keep us paying our subcription??????????

WHY would you continue player JUST FOR SOME OPTIONAL FEATURE that MAY OR MAY NOT BE COMING. CCP have NEVER even given an ETA except possibly soonÖ.
Ambulation will be a pointless hardware sink...

I don't think Ambulation is coming out anytime soon. The next expansion, winter release, is Dominion. Overhauling the sovereignty system mainly I'm guessing. I did see an article yesterday when looking up Dust that mentioned Ambulation. It's been renamed "Incarna" and doesn't have a scheduled release date as far as I know.

I assume it'll be the expansion after Dominion. Then again, I originally assumed it'd be the expansion after Apocry... Apogry... Apo... You know, the previous expansion.

Nice article. I was fooled to believe that Ambulation would come out at the beginning of 2009 then beginning of 2010 and now god knowns when. Lets not forget athospheric flight and all that good stuff with planet interraction. The last 4-5 expansions were all gimmiks, nothing of value has been added, yawn

EVE Online laws clearly state (Section 2, subsection 9, paragraph b):
"...no new feature can be released, or included in the patch notes therein, unless said aforementioned feature has been over hyped at at least four successive fanfests, flamed under no less than 8 different forum categories or has been the subject thereof of over 9000(!) forum subjects asking when said feature will be released unless the feature is defined as a 'bug' (see section 7, subsection 2, para c volume II) in which case it shall be considered as 'working as intended' and then that's ok."

Hey do us a favor and link the post where CCP said that walking in stations would be out by the end of 2009 please.
For that matter, please link "any" post where CCP has given a firm release date for WIS, no matter when that date may be.
...
Just to be clear, CCP has never given a release date for it. So your pointed question is rather.... pointless.

Hopefully never... It will make cloaking outside stations boring  bcos everyone will be in the warmth inside, huddled up next to the fireplace with marshmallows and fur rugs.

Walking in stations was going to be something for us PC'rs but then ccp decided 3+ years ago it would be more profitable to instead integrate the walking in stations into a console game that was somehow integrated in the eve universe. So there wont be anyone walking in station in the pc side...but console? yep...you sure will be....they even start out there trailer with it....

Different 3d engines. Thus not something you can "copy-n-paste" from EvE to DUST.
