I'll keep it short:
If a corporation that choose to engage in FW should not have to single themselves out by doing so. Corporations that wardec. these corps roam with impunity and form under the table alliances with the opposing faction in order to split any combined front established. In short this practice is not, I am sure, Intentional. And while it is no doubt a "fair" game mechanic, it is one that should be changed.
As I see it there are two fixes:
1. Take away the ability for corps. to wardec. corps engaged in faction warfare.
or
2. Let Alliances participate in faction warfare. Thus allowing FW corps to present a combined front.
We are very tired of Opportunists being able to single out members in our gangs while the rest of us can either sit and watch them die, or go GCC and take the sec hit.

I have to agree with this, and it seems that it can be especially confusing for newer players. Having other members of a fleet see targets where one sees only neutrals is confusing and frustrating if you don't understand what is going on. It invites the probability of finding out what happens when jumping back into high-sec with a gcc.

1. Yes. 2. No, I'd hate to see alliances in FW. --- Sol: A microwarp drive? In a battleship? Are you insane? They arenĘt built for this! Clear Skies - The Movie |

Making corps in FW invurnable to wardecs from other corps will not happen. It would be too easy for corps to hide from wardecs.
CCP implemented the ability for alliances to join FW, they just didn't activate it. So, there's hope.

Life is not fair, eve is not fair - deal with it. FW corp should not give you ultimate resist over griefers. Do not discuss moderation in your signature. Zymurgist |

I posted this before in some other topic around here. Make the faction count as semi alliance. So meaning if someone wants to declare war on a corp engaged in FW it will be at war with all the other FW corps and will also have to pay the higher bill, as like declaring a war on an alliance.
This doesn't make corps engaged in FW immune to griever tactics, but give them the same tools as non-FW corps to protect them from grievers that only wardec solo corps. No need to allow alliances join FW, just look at a faction as a an alliance.
Optional addiction: if a FW corp declares war to another corp that war will be handled on a corp only base. So only the corp that declared the war gets an active war and the other corps engaged in FW won't get involved in the declaration. Same should work for alliances. ---------------------------------- None of yet! |

True Eve is not fair, and if these super L33T griefers would like to deal with us. I'm sure they could join in the faction warfare. Ahh but that would be too fair wouldn't it?

This is the only good idea about that issue so far.
