K, first post for me here so obvious noob question coming:
So from what Ive read, you install a clone at a particular spacestation.
Noobquestion: Can I keep my mining ship in a station with a clone and jump to it to mine if im not in the mood for combat?
Does the clone need to have skills trained from the beggining like a whole new character?
Thankyou in advance for your help.

A jump clone is just a copy of you, well your pod really. You cannot jump ships around using a jump clone. The jump clone is a copy of your character basically, so everything skill wise is the same.. minus any implants, they do not transfer to your clone.
When you jump into your jump clone, you do it from your pod, so its a good idea to have ships and whatever else you need in the station you are jumping to.

You sure can, but there is a 24hour cooldown between clone jumps.
All skillsare over all of your bodies, only the implants in each change.
Reply would have been earlier but 5 minute rule

Clone jumping: you move your mind from one body to another.
You're limited to do so every 24 hours only. Your skills stay the same since it is your very mind. You can use whatever you have at your clones location or buy new stuff. Its in now way a new character but a new body for your character (including another set of implants).

You need faction standing of 8.0 (i think) with a faction before you can buy a jump clone.
You do not need to skill up on each clone, but you will need to buy another set of implants for each jumpclone.
If the clone you are in has a lower set of implants this will affect your skilling times.
There is a skill out there that you need before you can have a JC and each level means you can have another JC. I am sure the guide posted above will explain this. ------------------------ Jint Hikaru - Miner / Salvager / Explorer "I've got a couple of Strippers on my ship... and they just love to dance!" ------------------------ |

It's actually corp standing, not faction. The standing needs to be with the corp that owns the medical facility. You don't need any faction standing.
