Well the time has come to give another Pro Tip.
However; I want to make a little this time since this is way more opportunistic.
The first 3 donations of a significant amount will get the Pro Tip before I post it here. I will even offer you a money back guarantee. If you don't like the advice or if you think i'm wrong, then you post your thoughts here after I give the tip and you get your isk back.
You might think, wow this guy has bawlz asking for isk for advice...I do. But I'm as confident as Joe Namith when he predicted the Jets would win the Superbowl being considered the lessor team.

Explanation is here.
Value of all moon minerals is 800 isk per unit minimum if you pay for fuel. No more crap moon mining from sov POS for "free" minerals because Sov won't use towers any more.

Be wary. CCP has been saying they're looking into the very high t2 prices (remember when hacs cost less then 80 mil?) and have a solution in the pipes. Also, they must know that The Great Unanchoring will follow any sov changes.
Add that to the comment the dev makes on the second part of that comment page. Someone says "omg who cares about getting better veld spawns," to which the dev replies "think bigger." I'll not be surprised when cadmium and promethium start floating around. Will you be?
My 2 cents? The best buy for Dominion, given current PLEX prices and future stargate fees, is no buy at all.
I'm not trying to be Zen...just think about it for a bit.

Yes, this prediction of price increase in the lower spectrum of moon goo is based on the the Winter expansions and the changes to soveriegnty rules. No more towers needed to keep soveriengnty which means if you can not make a profit with it, tear it down.
For those of you who have followed the markets as long as I have and perhaps still have your spreadsheets from 2-3 years ago, check where the prices of these low end items were. Today shows us an even greater player base and ever more so qualified T2 flyers.
Another aspect of this will be the tremendous decrease in demand for ice products. If you have it stock piled, get rid of it.
Another part to look at is the possibility of decrease production of the race specific simple reactions. These may also fall from no towers making them in 0.0, however, at this time it appears the producers of the race specifics churn their own and these items do not flow through the markets in volumes. So my analysis on these is to remain the same or neutral as it is.

CCP got their info specialists, in fact it's hardly random how they are figthing against RMT farmers.
For the first time, a MMO company does the right thing: not believe tossing more cops solves the problem but just put them out of business.
PLEXEs were a great solution, killing ice price is another huge hit to them. - Auditing and consulting

But killing ice prices also hurt the real players who ice mine. ---- a reply which adds nothing to a thread or results in a thread being bumped with no new discussion worthy content is considered spam and as such warrants a forum ban |

Theres real players mining Ice when you can mine almost anything else and make more profit?(or has the price of ice shot up recently and I missed it because tbh I ignore the price of ice currently)

Yes... isotopes are higher than I've seen them And the effort for Ice mining is great for watching football games. Lock rock, press F1&F2, come back in 12 mins, dock, unload, go back to field repeat

The whole ice "thing" started wrong:
- Infinite - Long timer and easily AFK-able
this is just begging RMT grinders to drop over like voltures.
Now, it's expensive to remake the whole mechanics etc so the quickest "80/20" way is to partially kill viability to heavily nerf RMTers. - Auditing and consulting

As a very regular ice miner in minnie space usually, (i move around based on whether gallente or minnie is highest.) The reason ice is my preferred mining is....
-- No moving the miners around constantly -- long cycles (210sec) allowing you to troll forums while mining. -- Constant Demand (well there was... loss of pos as sov mechanic is gonna dwindle that)
Right now a freighter run of refined ice product nets 2bil or more. Currently it takes me four days to fill a freighter. So it works out quite nicely.
Mineral mining requires a lot more micro management and running 5 macks is a hell of a lot easier than managing 5 hulks and 15 mining lasers. Maybe I'm just lazy....

The "tip" is not new and it misses the point that you still need towers to react even low-end moon materials. When I did reactions in low-sec (no need for towers for sov) I could easily find a moon with gases that could be harvested straight into the medium reactors, or fit a harvestor and silo onto a tower that had extra CPU. I never, ever, ever hauled gases more than one jump away, and even that was pretty rare.
Gases never were and will never be worth hauling and anyone who listens to his advice and buys them in high sec stations is an idiot.
P.S. By "gases" I mean the four raw moon material that have a blue symbol. His other four suggestions are low-end reactions made only with gases and not worth much more than the gases themselves.

You fly into .3 systems that are one jump out of empire and every moon it seems has something parked on it. People are often running 10 or 20 towers or more. They want to buy just for convenience. There is a market, its just not a typical one, and its not very liquid as they usually buy when the price is extremely low and have huge stockpiles already. For these people, it really doesn't matter if the material is 50 isk or 200 isk or free. Its pretty much an irrelevant input. On the flip side, selling this for 500 isk, and buying for 50 isk could be nice if you sell 10 million units.
It doesn't matter in some ways, a couple of these gasses have a years supply or more floating around. The prices have flatlined for a reason. I really do have 50 million hydrocarbons. also...

Originally by: Tesal You fly into .3 systems that are one jump out of empire and every moon it seems has something parked on it. People are often running 10 or 20 towers or more. They want to buy just for convenience.
You missed my point entirely. It is far more convenient to stick a harvesting array on one of those towers than it is to haul stuff through lowsec. For example, on one of those 10-20 towers you take out a silo feeding a medium reactor and replace it with a harvesting array. A harvesting array uses the same CPU and uses 80% less grid. Not only is the stuff free, it saves you money and frees up grid for weapons.
In a worst case scenario, you can't feed the gas directly into a medium reactor so you throw up a harvesting array and silo at another tower for the cost of an extra 20 heavy water and 3 liquid ozone per hour, which translates to 12 isk per unit, not 600.
You would know this if you did anything more than "fly into .3 systems." Only the smallest of the small-time operators buy gases on the market, or people who can't do planning. I don't think those 0.0 alliances fall into either catagory, and I don't think they've been flying this junk into Jita from 0.0 space and depressing prices.
I'm sorry you bought 50 million units of worthless garbage, but if you had listened to me months ago maybe you wouldn't have. You I can't save, but no one else should fall for this nonsense.
