Has been the constant stream of matches!
I'm not sure if I'm on my own here but I don't like them being at set 20 minute intervals, especially if one team gets vaporised meaning you've got a long period of silence until the next match...
On the finals weekend where it cuts back to the studio this format is great and works really nicely but during qualifying the dead air is quite dull. I understand why it's done like this so pilots know exactly when they are fighting and matches can be prepared properly but I think if the format was changed to constantly running battles then they could easily adjust. I know everyone has a life to be getting on with as well but I don't think anyone would complain all that much and besides, on the final (studio) day you could be fighting in the first and last matches of the day already...
Why not just roll this out to the qualifying weeks?

I'm not going to speak for the CCP guys, so this is purely from the commentators point of view.
Fast turn rounds are hard work! Many times we were still setting up when Uncle Soundwave started talking to us. We have enough issues trying to co-ordinate mouth and brain without having to also put ships in order on the right teams while doing so
There are things we could to to make this easier, such as alternating the commentators between matches, but we didn't do this due to sound issues (No comment).

Olivor, if you were tune in into the radio stations relaying the matches rather than the Alliance Tournament channel then you'd be getting loads more entertainment as there was more commentary from the radio hosts in-between matches as well as music to keep your adrenaline rush high..

I'm not sure who I was tuned into, but I wanted to take to their head with a baseball bat with their every 5 second breaking in over a ****ing song for a meaningless unfunny comment.
If you want to ****ing talk every 5 seconds, how about don't play any ****ing songs.
Apologies to any innocent radio stations, it is my pet peeve.
