11% was OK.
It didnt apply to 90% of the income i can pul in Level 4's anyway, in reality it was more like 3%.
But increasing it to 24% and trying to 'ecorage' people like me out of NPC corps is wrong. Its Immoral.
I pay my $15 to play EVE the way i want to, not the way other people want me to and i know better than them and NPC corps are the only way i can avoid griebers and the nut jobs CCP allows to ruin my game on a whim by blowing up my ships and then ignoring my petitions.
Change the NPC tox back to 11% or i'll counsel my account. My Mitnal lies over the ocean My Mitnal lies over the sea My Mitnal lies over the ocean Oh bring back my Mitnal to me |

Where did they say it was 24%, it only leaked out the other day about the 11%.
Perhaps some evidence of your claim may help ------------------------------------------------ You either need a punch up the throat or a good shag.
Nobody round here is offering the second one therefore your choices are limited! |

All TAX is, get used to it.
Its a given .. you'll pay silly taxes and die. Nothing else is so certain.
I appear to be paying closer to 40% in real life, 11% is luxury!

What is it about taxes that ****es people off so much? Don't you like lighted paved roads and clean water? Or the dutiful people who risk thier lives for a puny government check like policemen making the streets safe for the average joe or the heroic fireman coming to pull you and your family out of a burning house? Besides I seem to have plenty leftover after paying my social dues to do pretty much as I want. YAAAARRRR! Where's Buttercup?! |

So giving your account some counseling will make it do what now ? Yes, you pay your $15 a month to play a fantasy creation that tries to incorporate real life situations and concepts. In real life, you pay taxes on all your income, so being in an NPC corp you have to pay the tax for the protection it offers. If you decided to go it alone, you can create your own corp and not pay any tax, but take the risk that someone out there for whatever reason wants to wardec you, this being highly unlikely to ever happen. As for your threat to leave EVE, CCP won't change this because some people don't want to play the game they designed it to run, so all that's left to say is, can I have your stuff?

6/10
I was generous with the score because OP still managed to bait a few of you.
Not that bad overall.
